Golem Heart

The Golem Heart is Dolsae's compact, wisp-like core form. It is not separate equipment owned by another character: the Heart moves as Dolsae, persists when his constructed body falls away, and can use surrounding material to form a new composite body.

History and role

Dolsae's compact familiar form

Dolsae first appears explicitly in Golem Heart form while Kang Woojin summons his Familiars for a journey across Juliel's Wilderness. Rather than forming a full golem body, the Heart circles Woojin's head under its own power. It later bursts from a hut and speeds toward Woojin in the same form, demonstrating autonomous movement and recognition rather than passive carriage. (Chapters 49–50)

Core of the Blood Dragon

During the battle against Ibrit, Woojin looks toward Dolsae's Steel Golem after offering the flightless Bone Dragon wings. Dolsae's steel armor falls away until only the Golem Heart remains. The Heart draws in nearby blood, settles inside the Bone Dragon's ribcage, and pumps the gathered material across its skeleton to form flesh and wing membranes. The resulting Blood Dragon combines the powers of Woojin's two Familiars; the Heart remains the active core of that composite rather than being destroyed or transferred as inert property. Abilities and properties

• Compact core state: Dolsae can remain and travel as a small, wisp-like Heart without maintaining a larger golem shell. (Chapters 49–50 and 88)
• Autonomous movement: The Heart can circle Woojin and rapidly fly from the Summoning Room, showing that it is an active form of a sentient Familiar rather than a carried component. (Chapters 49–50)
• Material absorption: After shedding steel armor, the Heart draws in nearby blood and pumps it through a Bone Dragon's frame, creating flesh and functional wings. The text demonstrates this amid an exceptionally blood-rich battlefield and does not establish what other materials or quantities could reproduce the result. (Chapter 88)
• Composite integration: Once nested in the Dragon's ribcage, the Heart helps unite Dolsae's golem power with the Dragon's skeletal body. This is a transformation and partnership of Familiar powers, not an ordinary change of ownership. (Chapter 88)
