Iello

Iello is Trahnet's 25th Great Lord, an ice-bodied Dimensional Lord who uses Lee Sahngho to accelerate Earth's synchronization, create Dungeon Breaks, and prepare a political foothold. He presents himself as a prospective savior, but his plans ultimately center on Earth's Code, rule over the planet, and victory over Kang Woojin. (Chapters 44, 62–63, 76, 80, and 86–90)

Biography

A hidden patron in Jeju

Before materializing on Earth, Iello sought a safer route than the unstable links used by other Great Lords. Because his rank delayed his access to the still-synchronizing planet, he recruited Lee Sahngho as an Earth-born vector, implanted knowledge of Dungeon Breaks, and gave him power through an absorbed fragment of ice. Sahngho could then pass monsters through opened dungeons while avoiding their attacks, accelerating the conditions for Iello's arrival. Iello treated Earth as a coveted hunting ground and expected an early foothold to protect his throne while giving him power to challenge Great Lords above it. (Chapters 44, 47, and 50)

Iello continued using Sahngho after Woojin killed him, spending Points to revive the vassal and redirecting him from further Breaks toward new assignments. Sahngho and Hwarang personnel eventually built a Bloodstone-fed magic circle in Manjang Cave, opening a portal and giving Iello control of a dungeon directly connected to his Dimensional Domain. The foothold let him materialize safely, but incomplete synchronization prevented him from using his full power. Rather than begin an immediate invasion, the cautious Iello ordered Sahngho to gather intelligence on the Immortal and rewarded useful reports with additional cold energy and abilities. Hidden in the freezing cave, Iello became increasingly desperate to locate Earth's god and Code. His anger cracked the ice around him when Sahngho failed, yet he kept the vassal's staff searching terrestrial news and investigating signs of Holy Power. By the time Sahngho claimed that Woojin could not return from Alphen, Iello chose patience over punishment. He declared that the coming Dimensional Lord crisis should end not merely in destruction but in his own rule, planning to appear only when Earth's population needed a rescuer. This reframed his concealment as political preparation: Sahngho would choose the public mask, while Iello gathered strength behind it. (Chapters 80 and 86)

The Lord of Ice in Seoul

After Earth completed synchronization, Iello finally possessed a tangible form and emerged with confidence as one of the Great Lords reputed to be strongest in direct combat. Ibrit's attack on Seoul appeared to offer the ideal stage: Iello intended to let the destructive Crow overwhelm local resistance, then defeat it and recruit Earth's people as an indigenous army grateful to their new savior. Woojin instead killed Ibrit before Iello arrived. The ice pillar carrying Iello reached an already-quiet battlefield, turning the planned rescue into what observers would naturally read as another alien invasion. (Chapters 87–88)

Unable to retreat from public view, Iello and Sahngho tried to convert military presence into legitimacy. Sahngho promoted him as a protector, opened talks with Korea, and finalized a defense treaty with Japan, while the occupation of Seoul divided human officials over whether an alliance was safer than resistance. Iello knew this strategy could not reliably restrain Woojin and blamed Sahngho when the Immortal returned. He therefore abandoned the slow political approach, gathered numerous lower-ranked Dimensional Lords who owed him loyalty through nominal alliances, and prepared to kill Woojin so he could take Earth's Code and rule the planet directly. (Chapters 89–90)

Iello met Woojin in the skies above Seoul with a familiarity that Woojin could not explain. He insisted that Woojin had lost his sense of self, claimed that the Immortal existed to hand him a key, and privately regretted that they could not complete a larger plan together. Iello nevertheless committed to mortal combat, believing Woojin's death would transfer the necessary Authority and save Earth and the other Dimensions. Years of preparation, subordinate armies, and most of the Points accumulated through the 25th Throne went into exhausting Woojin's souls and magic, but Woojin leveled up at the apparent moment of defeat and split Iello's elemental body apart. (Chapter 90)

Iello reconstructed the shattered ice and lacked a heart or other ordinary vital point, but this defense did not protect his soul. Woojin seized him and used Thrash's Punishment, melting the body until only water remained and taking the Recovery Code associated with Iello. His death immediately complicated the alliance Japan had just announced, and later observers expected that a Dimensional Proof might eventually permit him to revive, although no return occurs within the supplied corpus. Moon World personnel also reveal that earlier cycles ordinarily involved extracting or awakening Iello as their preferred Recovery Code bearer. The text does not explain how that external subject relates physically or mentally to the ice-bodied Great Lord seen inside Trahnet. (Chapters 90–93)

Appearance and personality

Within Earth and Trahnet, Iello appears as a humanoid or doll made entirely of ice. His face is transparent, his body contains no heart or conventional vital spots, and his presence progressively freezes Manjang Cave. He sits on an ice throne, later occupies a palace of ice atop the Thorn Tree, and can travel on a rapidly extending pillar of frozen ground. No stable clothing, age, or non-elemental facial features are described. The corpus never identifies this ice form as a Dragon, despite the presence of Dragon Dimensional Lords in Iello's coalition, and it does not show the appearance of the Iello whom Moon World personnel say they previously brought into reality. Iello is calculating, patient, and deeply controlling. He delays conquest while underpowered, relies on human intelligence networks, and treats humanitarian language and treaties as tools for acquiring troops and legitimacy. That restraint gives way to explosive anger when his assumptions fail: fear of losing Earth's Code makes his hands shake, his rage fractures caves and palaces, and he physically blasts Sahngho aside once the public strategy collapses. He is proud of his preparation and combat ability, yet momentarily cautious when Woojin remains calm near exhaustion. His stated desire to save Earth and the Dimensions coexists with explicit ambitions to preserve his hunting ground, rise above other Thrones, rule eternally, and possess the planet's Code; the corpus presents these motives together rather than resolving one as his sole true purpose. Abilities and class

Iello is both a Dimensional Lord and one of Trahnet's 72 Great Lords. His 25th Throne denotes his place in a management-based order rather than a simple combat ranking, while his personal fighting power is described as among the highest of the Great Lords. The corpus also says he possesses twenty-five Master Codes and a reserve of Points acquired through the Throne. How those Codes correspond to particular planets, and how much of Iello's ice power comes from his elemental nature rather than his Lord authority, is not fully specified. (Chapters 44, 87, and 90)

Dimensional authority and synchronization

Iello initially cannot reach Earth at full strength because higher-Step Lords must wait for the planet's energy and synchronization to support their links. He avoids relying on an unstable connection and instead makes Sahngho a vector who can accelerate Dungeon Breaks. A portal constructed with Bloodstones later spreads a magic circle's influence through Manjang Cave, gives Iello control of that location, and creates a dungeon directly connected to his Domain. This allows safe materialization, though Iello remains below full power until Earth's synchronization completes. The text establishes these stages but does not provide a numerical synchronization threshold, explain whether the tangible body is projected or transferred, or define how distance between a Lord and Domain affects the link. As a Great Lord, Iello can grant vassal status, transfer knowledge and power, issue remote assignments, and spend Points to revive a dead vassal. The power he gives Sahngho improves physical reactions, teaches new abilities without conventional study, lets him pass among monsters, and later adds cold energy. Death changes Sahngho from an Earth Awakened into a being dependent on Iello, preventing him from performing Dungeon Breaks in the old manner even after revival. These results show that vassalage can alter both power and existential status, but the precise contract terms, limits on Iello's commands, and process by which an ice fragment becomes permanent ability remain unexplained. Ice creation and environmental control

Iello generates cold on a scale that reshapes his surroundings. His presence freezes a cave and its entrance; his anger cracks ice and shakes the area; and he constructs a throne, palace, and elevated route from the same element. On the battlefield, a pillar erupts from frozen ground and extends toward the Thorn Tree, carrying his advance across Seoul. He can also inject cold energy into a vassal as a reward. These effects demonstrate creation, propagation, and transfer of ice-aligned energy, but the corpus gives no exact range, duration, temperature, or independent magic cost, and the frozen Han River and palace begin melting after Iello's death. Elemental body and regeneration

Iello's body is ice rather than flesh. It has no heart or ordinary vital point, allowing him to survive being split in half and knit the fragments back together as if unharmed. Rebuilding the body consumes Points, while ordinary cutting or crushing therefore offers no established killing blow as long as his soul and resources remain intact. Woojin defeats this defense with Thrash's Punishment, a soul-destroying effect that melts Iello completely. The encounter establishes the counter but not the elemental body's full limits: it never shows what happens if Iello runs out of Points, how quickly he can recover from repeated destruction, or whether the Earth body and any external physical body share damage. Ice weapons and aerial combat

Iello extrudes ice from his hands into a large saw-bladed sword, restores sections chipped away during exchanges, and can reform the same material as a long spear. Fragments orbit and attack like hail, seeking openings around Woojin's soul defenses, while the main weapon supports a relentless sequence of increasingly forceful strikes. Iello can leap into the sky and continue a high-speed aerial duel without a visible mount or wings. His attacks eventually penetrate Woojin's defenses and nearly exhaust him, but their effectiveness depends on outlasting an opponent; Woojin's sudden level restoration reverses the advantage, and soul-targeting Punishment bypasses Iello's physical resilience. Codes, Points, and subordinate armies

Iello uses Points as a common resource for resurrection, personal regeneration, and the forces attached to his Throne. He also builds power through political hierarchy: numerous lower-ranked Dimensional Lords join under the guise of alliances and answer his summons for the battle in Seoul. Their presence lets them act as control nodes for large monster forces, but killing Iello alone would not automatically eliminate those Lords. Iello expects killing Woojin to transfer Authority and give him Earth's Code; instead, Woojin receives Iello's Recovery Code. Later Moon World explanations distinguish that Recovery or Restoration function from the separate Planet Code required for a Reset. The exact transfer rule, the difference in terminology between Recovery and Restoration, and the connection between Iello's twenty-five Master Codes and the Code taken at death remain partly unresolved. • Lee Sahngho: Iello makes Sahngho his Earth-born vassal, empowers and revives him, and relies on his knowledge of media, politics, and terrestrial institutions. Their partnership is instrumental rather than equal: Sahngho depends on Iello for survival, while Iello rewards success but terrorizes and discards him when his plans fail. (Chapters 44, 62–63, 76, 80, and 86–90)
• Kang Woojin: Iello first exploits Sahngho's grudge against Woojin, then treats the Immortal as both the obstacle to ruling Earth and the bearer of a necessary key. His unexplained familiarity suggests knowledge extending beyond their visible encounter, but their possible prior-cycle relationship is never directly narrated. Woojin ultimately destroys Iello's soul-bearing elemental form and takes his Recovery Code. (Chapters 44, 76, 80, and 89–90)
• Doctor Toppler: Toppler and the Moon World Council regard Iello as the familiar candidate for carrying out a Reset.
