Bibi

Bibi is Kang Woojin's first Familiar, a Nightmare Succubus who returns to him in a weakened cat form before recovering her identity as the Illusion Witch. Her fierce attachment to Woojin develops into practical responsibility: she protects his sleep, fights beside his other Familiars, administers his Dimensional Domain, and ultimately commands the flying Colony City known as Bibi's Castle.

Biography

Return of the Illusion Witch

Bibi returns when Woojin unseals the Necromancer-class reward that contains her. She recognizes him immediately, while he realizes that she and the rest of his former Familiars were carried into sealed spaces where they could no longer hear his voice. Bibi is the first to hear him again, and her first concern after their reunion is both personal and practical: she wants to remain beside her master, but she also recognizes the scent of Trahnet's forces and tells him that Jaenis may understand it better. Their reunion therefore restores one of Woojin's oldest bonds while confirming that the danger he escaped on Alphen may have reached Earth. (Chapter 16)

Woojin's low level initially prevents Bibi from materializing her demonic body, forcing her to take the fixed form of a small kitten. The loss of power frustrates her, but remaining with Woojin matters more; she accepts the need to conceal her speech and settles beside him rather than waiting in the Summoning Room. Her innate Nightmare remains available even in this reduced state, allowing her to replace the torment inflicted by hostile spirits with dreams she controls. She also adapts quickly to Earth, sampling its food and television, learning its social habits, and growing attached—sometimes reluctantly—to Kang Sooah, whose play exhausts her but also makes Bibi a bridge between Woojin and his young sister. Bibi nevertheless wants more than a quiet domestic life. She watches Woojin grow stronger after every dungeon while she remains underleveled, misses bloody battle beside Dolsae, and repeatedly asks to accompany her master. In the field, she gathers materials, scouts, detects the presence of Trahnet's forces, incapacitates ordinary opponents instead of letting Woojin create needless trouble, and uses hallucination to make Juliel vulnerable. That usefulness also exposes her limits: while infiltrating a bunker connected to a Dimensional Fragment, she is trapped by its activation and captured by Rashmode, who kills her in front of Woojin. The experience leaves Bibi frightened but not passive. Woojin brings her back into battle so that she can regain the strength she lacked when captured, and thoughts of Rashmode turn her fear into fighting spirit. By the time she helps deceive Juliel, she has recovered Nightmare and Hallucination in cat form and is approaching the point where she can summon her stronger body and use Mass Hallucination. Her transition from dependent familiar to responsible subordinate begins when Woojin opens Alandal: after seeing the personalized space she has already made in the Summoning Room, he registers her as a Domain vassal and appoints her butler, entrusting her with the castle's affairs and access to its Energy. Keeper of the Dimensional Domain

As butler, Bibi turns an empty fortress into a place where Woojin's disparate dependents can live. She builds gardens, homes, a bakery, a smithy, and social spaces, gives Do Jaemin a house, watches for drifters, and serves as the person through whom residents can contact Woojin or open a return portal. Her enthusiasm repeatedly outruns her budget, but the spending also reflects a genuine attempt to turn a military holding into a community. When Woojin makes her his proxy in Dimensional Battles, her first defeat wounds her pride and costs the Domain Points and supplies. Instead of abandoning the role, she studies and practices mock battles with Jaemin; their work produces a later victory through an Orc Rider raid and an upgraded Wyvern force, proving that she can learn from failure rather than merely rely on her demonic powers. Bibi's growing authority does not separate her from direct danger. When Dungeon Breaks threaten Seoul, Woojin sends her with Dolsae to recover Jaemin and attack Jupia's Colony. She treats Jaemin as the one person in the broadcasting station she must save, incapacitates panthers through Nightmare, and challenges Jupia with an illusion that fails once the wary Dimensional Lord recognizes and breaks the mental scene. The encounter exposes both her specialization and its limits, so she works with Dolsae rather than forcing a direct contest. When Dolsae later loses himself in the rage of his Blood Golem body, Bibi walks into the blood, calms his Heart with her voice and touch, and redirects him toward defending Alandal. Her effectiveness rests as much on her long familiarity with him as on raw force. (Chapters 64–65)

Woojin later places an aircraft carrier inside a newly formed Colony and gives Bibi command because someone must summon defenders and coordinate its safety while he is absent. She names it Bibi's Castle and treats the assignment as both a creative project and a strategic obligation. Working with Jung Minchan and the Dwarf engineer Nosam, she purchases specialists and language services, integrates Domain residents with Earth's population, makes the carrier fly, installs all-direction cannons and a barrier, maintains Wyvern patrols, and preserves living and commercial spaces on its deck. Woojin considers the expense excessive but approves because the result protects his family. He then expands her mission from holding the Colony to using the mobile fortress against Dungeon Breaks, leaving her to choose where and how it intervenes. (Chapters 76, 78, and 80)

Earth's completed Synchronization restores Bibi's adult form and the full power of the Illusion Witch, but she understands that the same change frees the Dimensional Lords from their prior limits. She helps stabilize England, directs the fortress between crisis sites, and receives Woojin's final orders before his disappearance: protect Sooah, preserve the Colony, and use its Points to sustain the Undead Army if he does not return. When Black Armor approaches, Bibi votes to retreat because obeying that protective order matters more to her than proving courage. The group instead fights, and for days Bibi keeps the fortress close enough to replenish Woojin's Familiars. With its Energy nearly exhausted and the ship falling, she immediately spends Jaemin's newly won Points to raise its damaged barrier. Appearance and personality

Bibi first materializes as a small girl in a black one-piece dress and a wide-brimmed hat trimmed with lace. After Woojin's return to Earth resets her power, she instead uses the body of a small kitten because she cannot sustain her demonic form; the model becomes fixed, so she cannot simply substitute another animal. As her strength returns she can again appear as a child, often carrying a staff, while completed Synchronization restores the tall adult body Woojin remembers, including a black tail and a voice with an involuntarily seductive effect. Her Illusion Cloak and playful transformations into a frilled maid uniform reflect her fondness for presentation, though the source does not make the cloak the origin of her mental magic. Cheerful, talkative, and openly affectionate, Bibi most often expresses herself through hugs, teasing, pouting, and a desire for Woojin's praise. She absorbs Earth culture quickly enough to imitate television, appreciate fried food, and recognize social consequences that Woojin ignores. That playfulness coexists with a demon's comfort around violence: she can condemn an insulting human to a fatal nightmare and smile on a battlefield. Her loyalties, however, are stable rather than indiscriminate. She wants peace because she can live beside Woojin, cares for Sooah because Sooah is precious to him, and repeatedly places herself between Dolsae and people he might harm. Bibi also has a pronounced love of decoration, shopping, and ownership. She spends every allocation she receives, places a yawning-cat emblem on Alandal's flags, and fills both Domain and Colony with gardens, food, shops, and defensive works. Although her taste initially looks frivolous to Woojin and Minchan, she is capable of accepting correction, solving integration problems, learning strategic play from Jaemin, and converting that enthusiasm into functioning administration. Abilities and class

Bibi is a Nightmare Succubus whose power centers on dreams, hallucination, and mental interference. Her effectiveness follows both her own level and the degree to which Earth is synchronized with the other Dimensions. Her later titles and assignments—Illusion Witch, Domain butler, and Colony manager—add strategic and administrative authority to that innate demonic specialization.

Nightmare Succubus and materialization

When Woojin unseals Bibi, she has been reduced to a low-ranked succubus because the levels of his Familiars were reset alongside his own. Her summon normally forms from black smoke, and she can dismiss herself back into the Summoning Room in the same way. On early Earth she cannot sustain her original body, so she searches for a small creature and fixes a kitten as her materialization model. Nightmare remains available because it is innate and not dependent on that body, but her overall power and range are much lower than they were on Alphen. (Chapters 16 and 19)

Battle experience and Earth's rising ambient mana gradually allow her to materialize first as a child and then approach her stronger real body. By Chapter 46 she can use Nightmare and Hallucination in cat form, while her real form promises greater strength and access to Mass Hallucination. Completed Synchronization finally restores her adult body and lets her state that she can use all her powers. This restoration also removes the same environmental restriction from hostile Dimensional Lords, so it is an escalation of the wider war rather than an unqualified personal advantage. Dreams, hallucinations, and mental warfare

Nightmare allows Bibi to take control of a sleeping target's dreams. She can replace the hostile spirits tormenting Woojin with a nightmare of her own construction, and she can also provide pleasurable dreams when she chooses, a succubus specialization the narrative explicitly distinguishes from simple terror. The effect requires a sleeping or mentally seized target in its demonstrated uses; its energy cost and maximum duration are not stated. At its deadliest, the dream can persist until the victim dies, as shown when she condemns Joonsung after he insults her. (Chapters 22–23, 32, and 64)

Her waking mental magic includes sleep and hallucination effects. A sweep of black petal-like magic puts ordinary people around a dungeon entrance to sleep, allowing Woojin to avoid needless killing, while magical resistance or strong mental toughness enables some Awakened to remain conscious. Hallucination can feed a target false sensory information and create tactical openings: Juliel repeatedly falls for her deception, preventing his enhanced speed from overwhelming Woojin. Woojin later establishes that she can convert the Colony's Points into magical support for his Undead Army while near the Colony, substituting for the soul-fed power he normally supplies. This reservoir is finite: extended combat drains both the army and the fortress, and Bibi's last barrier activation cannot stop the damaged ship from crashing even though it keeps the defense active through the impact. Dimensional Battle command

Woojin can seat Bibi as his proxy commander in a Dimensional Battle, where she controls a strategic representation of Alandal's camp, troops, production, and technology. Reading the manual gives her the system's basics, but her first opponent outmaneuvers her troop control and inflicts a loss whose stakes include Points and randomly looted property. The defeat does not physically kill her, yet she experiences it as an intensely unpleasant loss and takes personal responsibility for disappointing Woojin. (Chapters 57–58)

Bibi improves through repeated mock battles with Jaemin during the Domain's accelerated time. In her next documented match, she combines an Orc Rider guerrilla attack with an upgraded Wyvern Nest and captures the opposing base. The victory earns Points and Domain plunder, but the source attributes her new build order to Jaemin's instruction and still places his skill above hers at that stage.
