Biography
Founding, defeat, and the causal loop
Louis is a human clone who survives aboard The Challenger, follows advice from a voice he believes is his future self, and builds the Cult of the Unblinking Eye over centuries. In the main conflict he uses the Cult, enslaved Immortal Ascendants, and the Challenger to stop Theodore Waltz from changing the Planetary Defense Array. Theo eventually lures him into Level-Reducing Sentry Towers and kills him in Chapter 410. Chapters 463–464 then reveal the causal loop: future Theo awakens this same younger body from a Challenger vat, leaves the headset, impersonates future Louis, and guides him into founding the Cult. This is one continuous body shown nonlinearly, not a resurrection after the documented death. (Chapters 384–410, 463–464)
Appearance and personality
Louis is a strongly built human man with an athlete's body. He is blunt, authoritarian, and far less interested than Ethan in persuasion or compromise. His confidence depends heavily on instructions received through his earpiece; when events contradict the promised victory, panic shows through the military certainty. The younger Louis heard in Chapter 464 sounds frightened and ordinary before centuries of power and obedience harden him. (Chapters 384–410, 464)
Abilities and cultivation
Louis is a Late Demigod threefold cultivator combining mind magic, force-aspect spirit cultivation, and body cultivation. He creates convincing illusions, directs controlled servants, strikes hard enough to sever a spinal cord through force and mind effects, and survives a nuclear blast at close range. His exact Demigod concept is not named. He is vulnerable to level reduction, time-reversal tactics, stolen artifacts, and being cut off from the predictive guidance he trusts; once suppressed inside Hearthwood, Theo's World Titan Fiendbody decisively outmatches him.
