Biography

Moonblade's strategic merger

Arien rules the shrinking Moonblade nation while Cult pressure and golem attacks erode its territory. Theodore Waltz's coalition gives her a way to preserve her people, so she brings castles, trained forces numbering about one hundred thousand, and a proposal that their strategic union be presented publicly as a royal wedding. She pledges service and helps defend the Hearthwood through repeated Cult and Challenger battles. An Immortal fire attack kills her, but coalition resurrection restores her; she later reaches Mid Demigod and remains active in the long campaign against The Challenger. Arien carries herself as a warrior queen accustomed to command, military logistics, and the political use of ceremony. Her merger proposal is strategic rather than merely romantic: a public wedding would give her people an intelligible reason for joining a stronger realm.
