Majesty
Majesty is Skyfire Avenue's heavily upgraded military flagship and the principal transport and command ship of Star Division. Originally created by Jue Di and supplied by Lan Jue, it combines battleship-scale capacity, stealth equipment, speed, and firepower in a platform able to move the division between distant fronts.
History
Star Division's flagship
Majesty enters active service carrying Star Division into the Shattered Starfields. Avenue-funded upgrades replace its older core gems, strengthen the hull, and expand its effective capacity to roughly one thousand soldiers. Lan Jue commands from its bridge while the Accountant and the operations-intelligence squad handle piloting and mission systems. With a Blinding Stone fitted, Majesty and Zeus-1 approach the Poison Wasp base without radar detection; because the larger vessel's energy signature would reveal a landing, it waits until an advance team disables the base before collecting the division and its captured supplies. (Chapters 535–538)
Emergency response at Lyr
When aliens overrun Lyr, Majesty leaves An Lun under Star Division custody and pushes its engines close to overload. It arrives in time to establish a safe area around Lyr University, destroys the creatures blockading orbital reinforcements, and supplies a continuous stream of logistics data. The operation demonstrates that the ship is not merely a troop carrier: its bridge and weapon systems support division-level command, reconnaissance, and space combat. (Chapters 658–662)
The Monteux incursion
Majesty deploys from Middle Heaven with Star Division during the human counteroffensive. Under the wider operation coordinated by Lan Qing, it flies with Zeus-1 and An Lun transports toward Monteux, lands after the elite vanguard clears the approach, and releases organized mecha units to secure the landing zone. Later assessments place its top speed on par with the fast alien craft, although sending the full ship would sacrifice the surprise available to a much smaller scouting team. No destruction or transfer is recorded, leaving it in current Star Division service. (Chapters 737–740, 813)
Abilities and properties
- Its upgraded battleship hull houses about one thousand soldiers, with quarters and enough internal capacity to serve as Star Division's principal transport. (Chapter 535)
- Replacement core gems and extensive Avenue modifications improve its durability, engines, weapons, and operational systems beyond a standard battleship's specifications. (Chapter 535)
- A fitted Blinding Stone hides Majesty from highly sensitive radar. This stealth depends on external equipment and does not erase the detectable energy released when the large ship lands nearby. (Chapters 536–537)
- Its firepower can break an alien orbital blockade and protect a planetary landing, while its scanners provide operational intelligence to allied forces. (Chapter 662)
- At maximum output it can match the alien vessels' speed, but a full-size ship and its accompanying force are less suitable for an undetected scouting approach. (Chapter 813)
- It can recharge through cosmic radiation, reducing the need to consume captured power gems. (Chapter 538)
