Mo Yu

Mo Yu is the Eastern military pilot who leads a mechanized relief squad onto Taihua after the alien nest is destroyed. His short role centers on securing the survivors’ position, recognizing the Wine Master’s authority, and keeping ordinary forces from disrupting Skyfire Avenue’s emergency treatment.

Biography

Securing the Taihua survivors

Mo Yu arrives at the front of a ten-mecha assault unit in a Mammoth III, clears remaining creatures, and investigates the unusual energy surrounding Lan Jue’s treatment. He initially challenges the unidentified group, then recognizes the Wine Master’s Gold Third Grade emblem and interdimensional power as proof of Paragon authority. Mo Yu retracts the alert, orders his squad to guard the area, monitors the wider cleanup, and obeys instructions not to impede later arrivals. His last direct scene in Chapter 150 leaves him alive at his post. (Chapters 145–150)

Appearance and personality

Mo Yu’s body is mostly seen inside or beside military equipment. When he reports to the Wine Master, excitement makes his breathing quick and his cheeks ruddy; the corpus gives no other fixed physical description. His Mammoth III is a massive national-defense mecha built as the heavily armed center of the squad. (Chapters 145–146)

He is alert, disciplined, and deeply respectful of both military hierarchy and the East’s Paragons. He prepares weapons against unidentified arrivals but changes posture immediately when credentials are verified. His excitement at meeting a legendary protector does not prevent him from maintaining the cordon and monitoring casualties. (Chapters 146–150)

Mecha command

Mo Yu is an Emperor-class pilot and the leader responsible for a balanced ten-mecha unit. He directs battle formation, target identification, perimeter defense, and relief operations from a Mammoth III. The formation and its weapons, rather than a solo duel, are the demonstrated basis of his combat effectiveness. (Chapters 145–146)

Adept status and limits

He is a Fifth Level Adept, but the corpus never names or demonstrates his personal Discipline. His authority is junior-captain level, far below the Gold Third Grade credential he verifies, and he sensibly yields command of the immediate area to the Wine Master. (Chapter 146)
