Biography

A quiet friendship survives her death

Chae-young arrives at school early to avoid a violent home and bullying classmates, sharing the empty classroom with Son Jae-won. She can barely answer his persistent greetings, yet privately considers him a friend. After abuse and abandonment drive her to suicide, she remains at the school as a ghost, choosing the isolation because it feels safer than life while holding onto the hope that she can someday tell Jae-won what his small kindness meant. Friendship gives the ghost a future

Sesha learns Chae-young's history and repeatedly visits instead of treating her as a frightening rumor. Chae-young gradually accepts magic lessons and discovers that a star fragment synchronized with her soul is sustaining her existence and carrying immense, mostly undigested power. Rather than remain passive, she decides to learn control and search for Jae-won. Yeon-woo eventually recognizes the connection and reunites her with Allforone's Son Jae-won identity. Appearance and personality

Chae-young is repeatedly described as a pretty girl, though in life her gloomy expression and lowered gaze keep others away. She is timid, soft-spoken, and easily startled because ordinary proximity once meant danger. With patient friendship she becomes curious and quietly determined, eventually choosing to master the fragment and pursue the person she remembers instead of only waiting at the school.
