Heimdall
Heimdall is Asgard's chief gatekeeper, a forceful god who offers Yeon-woo the power Tone of the End and later descends through an Apostle. He is an organizer within Asgard's battle formation, though his confidence repeatedly places him against enemies capable of overwhelming a descended divine body.
Biography
From patronage to Asgard's battlefield
Heimdall joins the gods pressing their claims on Yeon-woo and proposes Tone of the End together with Gjallarhorn, hoping to secure the player's attention. Later hostility replaces that attempted patronage. He descends through Flanc when Asgard enters the Illusory World, rallies the shaken gods around their surviving holy territory, and becomes the last bloodied defender facing the Martial King. His descended form is defeated, but his true body remains in the heavenly world and later appears with Asgard during the attack at Yeon-woo's wedding. (Chapters 210–211, 497, 608–622, 858)
Appearance and personality
The scoped corpus does not establish Heimdall's facial features or clothing. In battle he is shown bloodied, breathing heavily, and still cursing his opponent after the rest of Asgard's formation has fallen. He is proud, vocal, and duty-minded: he grinds his teeth at Yeon-woo's defiance, encourages confused allies, and continues resisting the Martial King after the tactical position has collapsed. (Chapters 497, 618, 622)
Abilities and powers
Heimdall can offer Tone of the End, designate an Apostle, and descend through that mortal Channel. His arrival fills the Illusory World with divine power, while his authority as gatekeeper helps him organize Asgard into a combined defensive and offensive formation. Descent preserves his true body but imposes a penalty when the manifested form is destroyed. The Martial King demonstrates the gap in that protection by overpowering and choking the descended Heimdall despite the remaining support of Asgard's holy territory. (Chapters 211, 608, 618–622)
