Odin

Odin is Asgard's supreme god and creator-leader. His long incapacitation by the Heavenly Demon Disease leaves Thor governing in his place, but his later awakening restores the direct authority of Valhalla and the Einheri to Asgard.

Biography

A supreme god falls silent

Odin once stands among the divine beings powerful enough to rival Kronos, but the Heavenly Demon's actions leave him afflicted by the Heavenly Demon Disease and asleep. His absence closes Valhalla and forces Thor to lead Asgard, contributing to increasingly aggressive policy while the society lacks its supreme god's stabilizing authority. Odin later disappears alongside other afflicted creator gods, making his location and condition a central uncertainty rather than confirming his death. (Chapters 520, 567, 600, 609, and 626)

Valhalla opens again

When Odin awakens, Valhalla sends a divine message and resumes recruitment of an Einheri for the first time in centuries. He uses the planned war with Olympus as the proving ground, ordering Valkyries to evaluate warriors by their achievements. The decision restores his direct command structure and shows how Asgard converts battlefield deaths and accomplishments into institutional power, although the conflict also reflects Odin's hostility toward rival societies rather than a neutral test of merit. A vulnerable eye turns a wedding into war

Odin attends Yeon-woo and Edora's wedding with Asgard and initially restrains his hostility because attacking would invite retaliation from nearly every major society present. Leo nevertheless exploits the Wise Eye's susceptibility to suggestion and destabilizes Odin's soul, causing him to order indiscriminate divine punishment and fight the Martial King. Yeon-woo responds by rewinding the entire sequence, restoring the guests before continuing back to the universe's beginning; the scoped text therefore does not leave Odin's brainwashed assault as an unreversed final state. Appearance and personality

Odin is a one-eyed man whose remaining eye is the Wise Eye. At the wedding he sits with his legs crossed among Asgard's forces, projecting murderous intent even while outwardly holding still. When his power expands, rough wind, lightning, and the cries of dead warriors surround him like a violent storm.

He is proud, combative, calculating, and easily provoked, earning the title Father of the Battlefield. He can judge when open conflict would be suicidal and uses the Wise Eye to compare opponents, but his arrogance remains visible in confrontations with Athena and other society leaders. That same eye creates a serious vulnerability when Leo uses suggestion against it. (Chapters 852–853 and 857–860)

Abilities and powers

Odin's domain is a rainstorm of death: wind and lightning spread across a battlefield while the souls of warriors who died worshiping him attack with curses and hostile energy. As Father of Dead Warriors, he gathers those souls as soldiers, and his authority over Valhalla extends through Einheri and Valkyries. His storm can cover a palace complex, but the text does not show it decisively overcoming an equal opponent before the event is rewound. (Chapters 805, 852–853, and 858–860)

The Wise Eye contains vast knowledge and rapidly estimates another being's strength, telling Odin when fighting Athena is impossible even as it identifies ways to pressure her. Its insight is not mental immunity: suggestion and brainwashing can pass through it and shake Odin's soul. His powers also depend on his active condition, since the Heavenly Demon Disease leaves him asleep and unable to govern for an extended period. (Chapters 520, 804–805, 852–853, and 860)

Relationships

• Thor: Thor is Odin's son and governs Asgard during his sleep, but begins coveting the supreme position during Odin's absence.
• Athena: Odin treats the leader of Olympus as a rival; his Wise Eye judges direct victory impossible, so their confrontation remains a standoff.
• Martial King: A brainwashed Odin fights him during the disrupted wedding until Yeon-woo rewinds the event.
• Leo: Leo exploits the Wise Eye to manipulate Odin and use Asgard as the opening force in an attack on Yeon-woo.
• Yeon-woo: Odin is hostile to Yeon-woo's faction, but Yeon-woo reverses the manipulated assault rather than resolving it through Odin's permanent defeat.

Items

• Gungnir: Odin's divine spear enforces Asgard's laws in the lower world and supports the creation of a great holy territory. Within the scoped action, the Sword God wields it as Thor's incarnation vessel rather than Odin using it personally. (Chapters 608–609)
