Arges

Arges is the youngest of the three Cyclops smiths. Separation and persecution make the brothers his entire world, while service under Hades turns his craft toward the arms of Dis Pluto.

Biography

The last brother chooses reunion

Arges remains active through an Apostle after Steropes dies and Brontes disappears, but his ability to recreate Kynee is limited without their collaboration. When Yeon-woo retrieves both souls, Arges supports restoring them rather than preserving his position as the sole survivor. His determination comes from a childhood in which the brothers were abused for their appearance and relied only on one another, so accepting Yeon-woo's death authority gives them a way to remain together. A final hiding place preserves the Sacred Fire

During Persephone's attack, Arges becomes the last living brother and hides the Stone of Castitas where only Hades and the Cyclopes can recover it. He dies before escaping, preventing Mother Earth from taking the Soulstone. Restored within Yeon-woo's shadow, he reunites with Brontes and Steropes, retrieves the stone, and extracts small portions of primordial fire for weapons, continuing his old service to Dis Pluto in a conscious undead state. Appearance and personality

Arges has the visibly nonhuman form of a Cyclops, part of the appearance for which the brothers were imprisoned and abused. After death he manifests from Yeon-woo's shadow while retaining familiar habits such as drawing a breath even though his body no longer needs air. (Chapters 286, 315, 515)

He is loyal, determined, and more openly emotional than the impassive Steropes. Fear of losing his brothers again guides his acceptance of resurrection and collaborative work. His hiding place for the Stone of Castitas is almost comically obvious, but it succeeds because access depends on knowledge held within the family rather than visual obscurity. Abilities and powers

Divine smithing

Arges specializes in making weapons while Brontes builds fortresses and Steropes develops bases. Together, the brothers created divine artifacts such as Astrape, Triaina, and Kynee; alone, Arges cannot reproduce their joint peak. Yeon-woo's growing power restores much of his former capability, while undead workers and blessings supply labor without replacing the brothers' specialist knowledge. (Chapters 286, 314–316, 515)

Sacred Fire handling

Arges knows how to extract small quantities of the fire from the beginning of time held in the Stone of Castitas. Even those fragments make Dis Pluto's armor and weapons formidable. The text explicitly says the brothers do not know how to use the Soulstone fully, so Arges's mastery is precise material handling, not unrestricted command of the cosmic Sacred Fire.
