Ananke

Ananke is an Olympian goddess whose divine domain is destiny and who cared for Kronos as his nanny. Warm and formal, she supports Yeon-woo through family knowledge and social connections rather than joining Olympus's combat corps.

Biography

Care becomes service to a new generation

In Yeon-woo's vision of Kronos's past, Ananke fusses over her injured master with maternal concern and helps him navigate the household around Uranus. When Olympus reorganizes under Yeon-woo, she is the only descending member not assigned to the combat forces. Yeon-woo instead draws on her familiarity with By the Table, and she connects his questions to Yul's concealed crisis. Her introduction at the organization's meeting helps expose Freesia's captivity and lets Yul finally appeal to stronger allies, extending Ananke's old caregiving role into practical mediation. (Chapters 562–563, 725–728)

Appearance and personality

Ananke has warm, comforting eyes and a manner that reminds Yeon-woo of care he has lacked since his mother's death. She speaks politely and formally even when descending at his request, but readily smiles at Yul's unexpectedly dependent behavior. Her kindness is genuine rather than ceremonial, paired with enough discretion to handle sensitive family and organizational affairs. (Chapters 562, 725–728)

Abilities and powers

Ananke's divine domain is destiny, and she can descend from Olympus when its leader calls her. The scoped chapters do not show her manipulating fate or using named combat techniques; indeed, she is explicitly separated from Olympus's fighting corps. Her demonstrated strengths are divine mobility, memory of Olympian affairs, and trusted access to people such as Yul, all used to carry information where force would not solve the problem. (Chapters 725–728)
