The Thousand Essence Flower contains the essence of a thousand immortals and their Daos, temporarily expanding a cultivator's ability to comprehend the Dao.

History

A Dangerous Aid to Jack's Breakthrough

Old Man Spirit offered Jack the flower after Jack asked for help breaking through before he had to leave Trial Planet. Although warned that the treasure was dangerous, Jack accepted it and prepared for the tribulation and breakthrough. (Chapter 220)

Jack swallowed the flower before the tribulation. Its accumulated essences flooded his mind and soul, helping him understand his own Dao and endure the breakthrough's demands. He survived the tribulation and secured his position as an immortal. The flower was consumed in the process. (Chapters 222–223)

Abilities and properties

• It has absorbed the essence of a thousand immortals and their Daos. When consumed, it temporarily links the user's mind to those essences and greatly expands Dao comprehension. (Chapter 220)
• Its benefit is comprehension rather than revealing wholly new knowledge; it helps the user inspect and understand the Dao they are developing. (Chapter 222)
• Old Man Spirit warns that using it is dangerous. (Chapter 220)
