Overlord Core

The Overlord Core is a rare, powerful core auctioned as the crown item of the Empty Star Auction; absorbing it greatly advanced Jack Rust's cultivation and power.

History

Auction Prize and Seizure

The Empty Star Auction presented the Overlord Core as its final and most valuable item. Elder Crownbeast and Elder Puerto competed for it, and Crownbeast secured it. After Jack defeated Crownbeast, he took the space ring containing the auction prize. (Chapters 510–511, 515)

Jack began absorbing the core in isolation. Its storm-like energy and violent contents resisted him, causing severe pain as he contained them. Completing the absorption propelled him into the late B-Grade and expanded his inner world. (Chapters 516–517)

Abilities and properties

• Its inner perception appeared as a stormy black ocean with dark lightning and many hostile figures; Jack regarded them as creatures the Overlord had killed, though the precise nature of the figures is not established. (Chapter 516)
• Absorbing the core was intensely painful but produced a major increase in Jack's cultivation and inner-world capacity. (Chapters 516–517)
• Jack's status after absorption showed significant skill advances, including higher tiers in Neutron Star Body, Death Mastery, Titan Taunt, and Black Hole. (Chapter 517)
