Biography

Welcoming Jack to the Black Hole World

Mia is among the first people to approach Jack after he arrives in the Black Hole World. She walks with him through the city, shows him its unusual landscape and the Hall of Wonders, and answers his questions about the community. Her explanations help Jack understand how people live in a place formed around the Black Hole World. When Jack prepares to leave, Mia voices concern for his safety even as she accepts that he must go. (Chapters 429–432, 435, 438–439)

Mia is later present when Jack returns to Earth. She joins the others who witness his arrival, sharing in the relief and hope that his return brings. The reunion closes her direct role as a guide who first helped Jack understand the Black Hole World, then watched him leave to face a dangerous conflict.
