Love Gu

Love Gu is a rank-nine emotion path Immortal Gu whose choices and effects cannot be reliably commanded. The Legends of Ren Zu presents love as capable of helping, refusing, or producing consequences different from what its petitioner expected. (Chapters 435, 547, and 1230)

Zhao Lian Yun

Zhao Lian Yun becomes Love Gu's acknowledged user and, through it, the current-generation fairy of Spirit Affinity House despite initially lacking a conventional cultivation foundation. Its activation supplies rank-nine effects but consumes resources unpredictably and does not answer her intentions like a normally refined Gu. (Chapters 1251 and 1646)

Love Gu's interventions repeatedly center on Zhao Lian Yun's determination to save Ma Hong Yun. Later, it appears to protect her from harm, but the narration preserves uncertainty about exactly when and why it acts. That unpredictability is part of the Gu's established function rather than a missing technique she can train away. (Chapters 1251–1290 and 2330)
