As Rank-eight soul-path Gu Immortal whose body is possessed by Spectral Soul within Soul Pacifying grotto-heaven; two-heavens alliance, Cold Ash enters the two-heavens alliance as Lady Cold Ash, volunteers for dangerous fighting, appears to die under Che Wei’s attack, and returns because Spectral Soul is using the body and identity for infiltration. Cold Ash dies, and the body is subsequently possessed. (Chapters 1969–2068)
