The Heaven Splitting Axe is an ancient-clan holy treasure and formation spirit whose blows carry an aura that resists ancient-god healing.
History
Formation weapon
The axe is first invoked through a formation in the Sealed Realm. Its lingering aura leaves Wang Lin with a wound that his ancient-god body cannot readily heal. (Chapters 943, 1309, and 1311)
Weapon of the realm war
The axe kills thousands of Outer Realm cultivators and tears a huge rift through space. Wang Lin turns its power against the invading army. (Chapters 1519, 1524, 1526, and 1529)
Ancient-clan inheritance
Wang Lin identifies the axe as his clan's holy treasure and the eighth formation spirit. It chooses to fly to him, and he later wields it while fused with his enormous Ancient Dao shadow. (Chapters 1663, 1664, 1728, and 1763)
Abilities and properties
- Inflicts wounds carrying an aura that prevents an ancient god's normal regeneration. (Chapters 1309 and 1311)
- Expands thousands of times and splits open space with a descending chop. (Chapter 1529)
- Functions as the eighth formation spirit and responds to Ancient Dao power. (Chapters 1663, 1728, and 1763)
