Li Yuanlei

Li Yuanlei is a Nirvana Cleanser cultivator who leads a group of rank-eight sect disciples through the Wind Celestial Realm. His brief encounter with Wang Lin is defined less by combat than by prudent leadership: he warns a lone traveler, protects his group from red mosquito beasts, and knows when the correct response to overwhelming power is respectful withdrawal. Biography

Expedition into the Wind Celestial Realm

Li Yuanlei leads more than ten younger cultivators from rank-eight sects during an expedition into the Wind Celestial Realm. When he sees Wang Lin traveling alone, he warns that the deeper region is dangerous and invites him to join the group. Soon afterward, a swarm of red mosquito beasts erupts. Li Yuanlei reacts quickly, orders the use of Heaven Fragrance, and retreats in good order while the incense keeps the swarm at bay. The group then witnesses Wang Lin's extraordinary relationship with the mosquito king. (Chapters 1234–1235)

After waiting before going deeper, Li Yuanlei's party benefits from the mosquitoes' absence and gathers materials that would otherwise be inaccessible. They eventually find Wang seated on a stone gate and guarded by thousands of beasts. Li immediately tells the others to leave without disturbing him, but the mosquito king blocks their retreat and forces them to approach. His initial caution therefore becomes a direct confrontation he did not seek. (Chapter 1244)

Subject of Flowing Time

Li Yuanlei greets Wang respectfully, but he and his companions are caught in Wang's developing Flowing Time spell. Roughly two thousand years of reversal strips away their accumulated cultivation, pushing Li from the late or peak Nirvana Cleanser stage back to peak Nirvana Scryer before Wang restores what was taken. Recognizing both the danger and the fact that Wang allowed them to leave, Li bows, abandons the expedition's gathered spoils, and leads the group away alive. (Chapters 1245–1246)

Appearance and personality

Li Yuanlei is a slender, handsome man in a green robe, with bright eyes and a naturally majestic aura. He is courteous to an apparently solitary cultivator, attentive to group safety, and consistently unwilling to provoke a stronger unknown power for the sake of pride or treasure. Abilities and cultivation

Nirvana Cleanser cultivation

Li Yuanlei is described first at late Nirvana Cleanser and later at peak Nirvana Cleanser. The wording may reflect his position near the top of that stage rather than a documented breakthrough between scenes. Wang's Flowing Time visibly reverses that progress until Li falls to peak Nirvana Scryer, then restores it, demonstrating the cultivation he had accumulated without establishing a named personal combat art. Heaven Fragrance and expedition command

Li carries Heaven Fragrance incense and orders every group member to light it when the red mosquito swarm attacks. Its scent causes those mosquitoes to stop and avoid the cultivators, making it a specialized defensive resource for the expedition. The scene does not establish that it can repel the rarer blue or golden variants. This protection is item-derived rather than an innate spell; Li's own demonstrated strength is rapid threat assessment and coordinated withdrawal. (Chapter 1234)

• Wang Lin: Li Yuanlei first warns Wang about traveling alone, then recognizes his command of the mosquitoes and submits rather than provoking him. Wang uses Li's group as involuntary subjects for Flowing Time but restores their cultivation and releases them. (Chapters 1234–1246)
