Speaking up when observation matters

Tinkle's work begins with newspapers, cleaning, and personal service, giving her a close view of Victor's business life without authority over his deals. When a proposed transaction looks suspicious, she voices concern rather than treating a merchant's decision as beyond question. Later, during an investigation after a film incident, she explains that Victor paid for the ticket and cooperates as a witness, turning details noticed through service into useful public evidence.
