Rachel

Rachel is a civilian child and Good's adopted younger sister.

Biography

A makeshift family gains stability

Rachel lives with Good under an improvised sibling identity, and his need to provide a better life for both of them drives him toward military recruitment. She accepts the name and role he teaches her because the arrangement gives them food, shelter, and protection in Neverwinter. (Chapters 1046–1047 and 1049)

By the later scenes Rachel can visit the market and prepare an egg-pancake meal for Good, a modest act that demonstrates greater security and her own growing agency. The corpus does not explain her earlier history or legal relationship to him in detail. (Chapters 1192 and 1195)

Appearance and personality

Rachel is a young girl with a bright, silvery voice in her latest scene. She is initially hesitant when rehearsing the sibling cover but later energetic and proud of the food she prepares. (Chapters 1046 and 1195)

Magic and abilities

Rachel has no demonstrated magic or specialized combat skill. Her cooking and increasing independence are ordinary abilities developed within a safer household, not evidence of supernatural power. (Chapters 1046, 1192, and 1195)

Relationships

Good acts as Rachel's protective elder brother and chooses the aerial reserve partly to support her. His friends Finkin and Hinds are curious about her, but Good keeps the household boundary firm. (Chapters 1046–1047, 1192, and 1195)
