In Roland's territory she raises walls under attack and then shifts toward roads, foundations, slopes, canals, and expedition camps, because permanent construction gives her ability broader value than isolated combat. Working with Karl and ordinary crews, Lotus learns to shape only the terrain workers need rather than claim buildings as her work alone.
