Biography

Building an animal messenger network

Honey traveled from Sleeping Island with birds already responding to her calls. In Neverwinter she turned that affinity into a wide messenger and observation network, choosing practical communication work that let distant forces exchange information faster than human couriers alone. (Chapter 255)

A long-distance information network

Honey's birds eventually connected Neverwinter to operations far beyond the city. Late in the scope, Roland received her message that a fleet carrying immigrants from the Kingdom of Wolfheart would reach the inner-river port in two days. Delivering that timely notice shows the consequence of her earlier choice to make animal control into dependable communications infrastructure. (Chapter 1232)

Appearance and personality

Honey is short, even slightly shorter than Lotus, with fluffy, short, curly brown hair and a lively manner. Her cheerful handling of many birds and later communications work present her as energetic and practically minded. (Chapters 255, 258)

Magic and abilities

Honey can communicate with and direct animals, especially birds. The network depends on available trained animals and cannot provide knowledge the animals did not perceive. (Chapter 255)

Relationships

Honey travels with the Sleeping Island witches and works within the Witch Union after arrival. Her birds are partners in a practical messenger network, while distant soldiers depend on the information they carry. (Chapters 255, 1232)
