Elena
Elena is the ancient witch consciousness and combat carrier. (Chapter 676)
Biography
Ancient resolve in a new alliance
Elena urged Taquila's survivors to verify the Church's defeat and, if confirmed, recover the divine relic rather than leave it with a failed guardian. After contact with Neverwinter, she continued choosing direct reconnaissance and battle service, transferring ancient experience into the new alliance. (Chapter 676)
Combat and rescue service
Elena later used the carrier body in direct operations, clearing defenders with a huge sword and coordinating with other ancient witches. During the clash with Ursrook she identified herself to Ashes, checked the wounded Leaf, and assured them that healers were coming. She was killed in the later Taquila ambush alongside Ashes; Taquila's survivors honored that choice as meaningful sacrifice, and Neverwinter placed her tomb among the campaign dead. (Chapters 943, 1104, 1167–1168)
Appearance and personality
No consistent physical description is established in the supplied chapters. Her demand for verification before action presents her as forceful without being indifferent to evidence. (Chapter 676)
Magic and abilities
Elena controls a powerful carrier body suited to combat and reconnaissance. Its physical advantages are substantial, but the body is not human and carries the sensory and social limits of that form. (Chapter 728)
Relationships
Elena argues with Alethea and other Taquila survivors as an equal participant in their shared command decisions. Cooperation with Roland gives her a new military purpose outside the lost city and, after her death, a place in Neverwinter's public remembrance. (Chapters 676, 943, 1168)
