Mikail

Mikail Araknis is the third prince of Araknis and Delilah's half-brother. His wealth and title attract followers, but his pursuit of Aria and hostility toward Aengus Degaro repeatedly expose poor judgment and leave him politically eclipsed. (Chapters 156–234)

Biography

Assembled to A Historical Signature

Mikail joined the assembled young elites while pressing unwanted romantic attention on Aria, treating persistence and princely standing as substitutes for consent. Delilah warned him that affection must be earned, yet jealousy sharpened when “Ethan” appeared. Before the trial, Mikail dismissed Aengus's danger warning and used promises of wealth and power to draw followers onward; he survived injured, then accused Aengus of being a demon and urged Leon to abandon him. Later, despite another warning, Mikail met Aengus's gaze and suffered his petrifying attack. He remained present as Aengus's imperial authority was recognized, clenching his fists in defeat: his attempts to lead through status and suspicion preserved neither influence nor superiority. Appearance and personality

Mikail is tall, handsome, and golden-haired, dressed in royal attire and decorated with costly, powerful treasures. He projects the assurance of a prince accustomed to attention, but that confidence often becomes entitlement: he ignores Aria's annoyance, reacts jealously to a rival, and assumes material incentives will secure obedience. His repeated refusal to heed warnings shows stubbornness more clearly than courage, particularly when it produces injury without changing the larger conflict. (Chapters 156–174, 224–234)

Skills, laws, and abilities

No personal rank, law, system panel, or named combat skill is supplied for Mikail. His demonstrated leverage is social and material: royal status, wealth, and access to valuable treasures allow him to recruit trial followers and stand among elite factions. Those resources do not protect him from the trial's dangers or Aengus's gaze-based petrification, and the text does not establish whether he resisted, recovered by his own power, or required outside aid.
