Luna

Luna is Iris's young sister, first rescued with her family during Arcadia's emergency and later reunited with Iris after Aengus Degaro restores selected dead residents. Her two reunions frame both the safety Aengus once provided and the limits of his later resurrection. (Chapters 54–58, 449–450)

Biography

Finding Iris’s Family to The Call For Emergency

Luna stayed inside the family home with her parents during the surrounding chaos because they believed remaining together there was safest. When Iris returned, Luna rushed into her arms, confirmed that the family had followed her instructions, and joined their evacuation in the stone carriage Aengus created. She complained about its hard surface but accepted the necessity of travel rather than delaying the group. At the emergency shelter she befriended the similarly aged Emily, offered her food, and tried to cheer her while the adults treated Greta, turning her own rescue into a small act of comfort for another frightened child. (Chapters 54–58)

Reunion With Old Party to Reunion

After Arcadia's later destruction and restoration, Iris found Luna alive among the returned crowd, but neither could find their parents. Luna's relief at seeing her sister gave way to tears and questions that Iris could not answer. Aengus explained that he had revived selected souls through his authority as God of Ruination, while many others had already reincarnated and could not be recalled without disrupting new lives. Luna recognized him as the same kind “big brother” who had saved them before, and her smile showed trust surviving death and resurrection; her latest security rests with Iris, not with the restoration of their original household. Luna is a small girl close to Emily's age.
