Gaia
Gaia is a tough male Creation God and friend of Raizel and Historia. He joins Aengus Degaro's pursuit of the Originator, attacks in a twelve-armed Ancient Titan form, and is ultimately drawn into Aengus's final Universal Synthesis. (Chapters 462–466)
Biography
New Allies to The End.
Gaia entered the alliance as its cautious voice, warning Historia that they knew nothing about the evil entity they meant to confront. He nevertheless followed Aengus through the corrosive crimson turbulence of the Blank Domain and committed fully when they reached the Originator's womb. Transforming into an Ancient Titan, Gaia launched all destructive elements through twelve palms and playfully challenged Raizel to show his own strength. The attack failed to decide the battle, and Aengus later ordered Gaia and Historia back when the enemy's scale exceeded their ordinary god bodies. (Chapters 462–464)
The Originator's contemptuous snort crushed Gaia and Historia into formless matter without allowing them to die, leaving both in continuous agony and intensifying Raizel's resolve to help Aengus. Raizel's sacrifice enabled the final countermeasure, but Gaia did not recover independently. Universal Synthesis caught him, Historia, and the Originator in an irreversible fusion; after the light faded, no separate trace or power signature of Gaia remained. The ending confirms absorption into the event, not whether an individual consciousness survives inside Aengus's new state. (Chapters 465–466)
Appearance and personality
Gaia first appears as a tough man surrounded by a yellowish aura. In combat his body expands into a colossal Ancient Titan with twelve additional arms and a Buddha-like silhouette. He is careful enough to resist Historia's urgency, yet not timid: once battle begins he jokes with Raizel and attacks seriously. His friendship with both companions is explicitly important to Raizel, though Gaia receives no private history or motive beyond stopping the Originator. (Chapters 462–465)
Skills, laws, and abilities
Gaia's Creation God body withstands the corrosive pressure of the Blank Domain with its own defenses and can transform to universal combat scale. Twelve Vajra Palms of the Infinite forms dense, differently colored energies in his twelve arms, combining all destructive elements into one coordinated attack. The chapters do not enumerate those elements, explain the transformation's activation cost, or show whether each palm can operate independently. (Chapters 462–463)
His power remains that of an “ordinary” or lower Creation God relative to the Originator and Aengus. Shock waves from mixed Creation and Ruination make him stagger, and the Originator can destroy his divine body with a snort while deliberately preventing death. Gaia shows no regeneration or escape afterward. Universal Synthesis then removes his separate presence, so no later mastery or accessible individual ability is confirmed. (Chapters 464–466)
Relationships
- Historia: Gaia's fellow Creation God and argumentative companion; he tempers her urgency and suffers beside her. (Chapters 462–466)
- Raizel: His friend and battlefield companion. Gaia's near-destruction is part of the loss that drives Raizel's final aid to Aengus. (Chapters 463–466)
- Aengus Degaro: Gaia accepts his guidance against the Originator and is later caught in his Universal Synthesis. (Chapters 462–466)
Items
No weapon, armor, focus, or personal relic is named for Gaia. His palms and elemental energies arise from his transformed god body rather than demonstrated equipment. (Chapter 463)
