The Adjudicator

Biography

The Adjudicator to The End.

The Adjudicator receives Aengus as the Underworld's keeper of balance and guides him toward Ruination Source Power, presenting black-and-white manifestations and judged souls as part of his office. The guidance is betrayal: a hidden entity acts through him, waits until Aengus appears vulnerable, and expects another cycle of death. Aengus deceives the observer with a replaced universe, attacks after securing Ruination, and uses Universal Synthesis to purge the corruption. The being vows to return; five years later Aron holds adjudicator responsibilities, but the transfer mechanics are not explained. (Chapters 437–466)

Appearance and personality

The Adjudicator has hollow eyes and an otherworldly judicial presence. Outwardly respectful and informed, his concealed aspect is disdainful, patient across resets, and confident that cosmic office makes him untouchable. (Chapters 437–446)

Skills, laws, and abilities

He travels through the Underworld, summons projections, oversees exceptional Karma judgments, and knows the location of Ruination Source. His strength initially exceeds Aengus's and his defenses resist direct assault, but Universal Synthesis can purge the foreign corruption. Whether the office's powers belong to the host, corrupter, or title remains unknown. (Chapters 437–466)
