Xod

Xod is a Guardian within the Tower of Babylon who negotiates with William and later shares information about his summoning ability. (Chapters 568 and 586)

Biography

The Deadlands and the Central Continent

When Xod meets William again, he says nothing and offers only a brief nod. That restrained acknowledgement follows an earlier negotiation in which William's claims about a Goblin Paladin's rarity left Xod feeling cheated and nursing a grudge. Xod consequently tells Yves about William's ability to summon creatures, but the selected arc does not show him acting on the grievance beyond sharing information and maintaining a cold demeanor. Appearance and personality

Xod is described as a man, with no further features established. He can be hospitable to Oogwei yet visibly resentful toward William, whom he regards as owing him a fortune. (Chapters 572 and 604)
