Wade is one of the five Deadlands Shelter leaders who confront Raizel. His sparse record preserves his political standing and eventual defeat rather than a developed personal history.
Biography
A Shelter leader defeated in war
Wade arrives with Lindir, Eldon, Avril, and Swiper as representatives of five among the Deadlands' twenty Shelters, giving him recognized authority within that fractured society. He later becomes an enemy during the war. Swiper's retrospective account establishes Wade's consequence clearly: Swiper and Psoglav fight side by side and kill him, ending Wade's part in the conflict. No motive, final speech, or independent power progression is established. (Chapters 801, 1400)
