Biography

Ancient death and a fragment's final return

Tiamat gives birth to an ancient divine generation and becomes the overwhelming opponent of the Younger Gods. Their losing struggle changes when Marduk emerges as champion, kills the Great Goddess, and opens a new era for mankind. Thousands of years later, William summons Tiamat against Surtr. The manifestation takes the form of a seven-headed dragon, but it is only a fragment of her Will and cannot use her true power; Surtr overpowers it and uses its body to blunt Marduk's God-slaying attack. (Chapters 646, 1019, 1449, 1451, and 1453)

Appearance and personality

The summoned fragment appears as a seven-headed dragon. The selected evidence does not provide Tiamat's earlier form, personal dialogue, or enough independent action to establish her personality. (Chapter 1453)
