Biography

Contracts that reshape allegiance

Sancus first praises Gavin's follower while joking that William could have helped him conquer the world through loans and debts, revealing a playful but transactional outlook. He later supervises the contract that places a golden winged-lightning mark on Rebecca's chest as proof of ownership, making the magical agreement externally visible. During the Holy Order conflict, William routes another contract through Sancus and secures signatures from the Pope and remaining Virtues, allowing Lira and Ephemera to return while obligations remain enforceable.
