Owen

Owen is Lont's respected Life Magus, healer, defender, and one of William's adult mentors. His knowledge extends beyond recovery magic into practical combat training.

Biography

Lont's healer becomes an instructor

Owen begins as the person Lont's injured and sick seek for treatment and helps safeguard the community. He later answers James's summons despite complaining about the interruption to his private life, then trains Princess Aila in both Life Magic and self-defense. Under his teaching she becomes a concealed Battle Mage, demonstrating that Owen's contribution is not merely healing wounds but preparing others to survive combat. In the after-story William still treats Owen as a genuine expert whose advice can help the next generation. (Chapters 30–103, 741–752, 1470)

Appearance and personality

Owen is an adult man associated with a walking stick in his early appearances. He is humorous, frank, and theatrical in complaint, but dependable when healing, defense, or instruction is needed. (Chapters 30, 47, 741)
