Nergal laughs at Owuo's proposal and agrees to the approaching confrontation, then greets the defenders' billion-strong army with delight rather than caution. His bellow cracks the sky, and he personally engages Thorfinn before eventually rising through Yaldabaoth's red portal with the surviving Gods of Destruction.
