Surtr

Surtr is a Fire Giant, one of the Gods of Destruction, and the leader of World Destroyers who assault Yggdrasil and later fight William's alliance. (Chapters 759, 1184, 1447)

Biography

The Holy Order and the Underworld

Surtr leads the Army of Destruction that overwhelms defenders one by one. At Yggdrasil, the last Einherjar raises Mjolnir against him but fails; Surtr lifts his sword of destruction and strikes at the World Tree. The selected arc establishes the scale and consequence of his advance through the defenders' collapse, but does not show the complete result of that particular slash or explain Surtr's personal motive beyond his destructive role.
