Mordred is Anna's husband, Eve's father, and one of the adult Ainsworths protecting Lont. His sparse arc centers on family responsibility rather than independent adventure.

Biography

Guarding the Ainsworth household

Mordred helps receive visitors and manage Ainsworth family affairs from William's childhood onward. During the later Central Continent period, he and James accept an extremely protective arrangement around Eve: her playmates are restricted to girls, and neither man objects despite Anna's exasperation. This overprotectiveness establishes Mordred's priority clearly, while later scenes keep him beside his mother and family during world-threatening events.
