Minos

Minos is the Myriad Great Bull who rules the Minotaur Race and honors its ancient oaths during the Southern Continental War. Even after the Continental Spell weakens him, he commits his people to the alliance around William. (Chapters 374, 377, 498, and 526)

Biography

Oath-bound king of the Minotaurs

Minos recognizes that the Continental Spell has made stopping the Elven advance nearly impossible and suffers more from its weakening effect than the Ant Queen. He nevertheless leads the Minotaurs into William's coalition because of their old pledges. When William temporarily leaves the battlefield, Minos refuses to withdraw, reasoning that the Half-Elf is risking his life elsewhere and that the Minotaurs must keep their oath. He later meets Drauum in a contest of brute force that neither can decisively win, then sends his sons to escort Ariadne's journey. (Chapters 374–377, 474–498, and 712)

Appearance and personality

In humanoid battle form Minos is a three-meter-tall Black Minotaur; he can also assume a much larger scale. He is proud, stoic, and governed by promises rather than convenience. (Chapters 438, 474, and 498)

Skills, classes, and divinities

Minos is a Myriad-ranked beast with tremendous size and physical strength, sufficient to stalemate the Ancient Golem Drauum in brute force. The corpus does not name his attacks, class, or precise transformation limit. (Chapters 374, 438, and 493)
