Carl

Carl is Princess Sidonie's younger half-brother, placed on Freesia's throne at ten years old. He later rules the Anaesha Dynasty while relying on Sidonie and her agents for counsel and support. (Chapters 356, 514, 1357, and 1397)

Biography

A young ruler sustained by distant counsel

Carl becomes Freesia's reigning prince at only ten after Sidonie's other half-siblings are imprisoned. When Sidonie returns with the Kraetor Army, he greets his elder sister with an immediate embrace. As problems arise under his rule, Carl writes to Sidonie for advice rather than pretending to possess experience he lacks. After she leaves for the Central Continent, Priscilla remains behind to support his administration, and Carl eventually takes over the Anaesha Dynasty as king. Appearance and personality
