Bronte
Bronte is the Pseudo-God of Thunder and twin of Astrape, the Lightning Deity. Formerly a guardian of the Seventh Sanctum, she becomes one of William's Shield Maidens and supplies divine thunder to his campaigns.
Biography
Thunder in the Grand Alliance
After the conquest of the Seventh Sanctum binds Bronte and Astrape to William, Bronte fights beside her twin against dungeon guardians, Demon powerhouses, and fortified positions. During the Grand Alliance she joins the Pseudo-God bombardment of the Palace of Light, yet its barrier withstands the assault. She later wants to shoot hostile Dwarves during an interrogation but obeys William's prior ban on violence, showing that her service includes restraint as well as attack. She remains among his assembled allies before the final war. (Chapters 1142–1244, 1333, 1375, 1430)
Appearance and personality
Bronte first appears as a stern silver-haired beauty whose voice booms like thunder. Proud and quick-tempered, she is fiercely attached to Astrape and capable of obeying William even while angry. (Chapters 1142, 1186, 1375)

- Pseudo-God of Thunder: Her voice and attacks carry divine thunder. Her specialty is powerful, but her physical ability is only Demigod rank and William defeats her in close combat. (Chapter 1142)
- Twin storm: Holding hands with Astrape lets the sisters create a thunderstorm and mass bombardment. Their combined output can still fail against superior barriers. (Chapters 1200, 1333)
