Luna
Luna is the first and strongest of Cain and Cyrene's Lamia daughters, born as an Ancient-quality Lamia Progenitor with Cain's original Puppet Master class and an innate Mythic poison. Her hunger for combat begins as a species memory urging her to eliminate rivals, but education, affection, and experience redirect it toward protecting friends, mastering new skills, and competing within the Forbidden Treasure Sect. She becomes a Spirit-Awakened Princess of War whose summons, Merger combinations, runic weapons, and group-enhancement skills let her fight as both commander and front-line disciple.
Biography
Birth of an Ancient Lamia
Luna hatches already speaking, armed with ancestral instincts that tell her to bite threats and kill the other eggs before they become competition. Cain untangles her, refuses to return her to the nest, and explains that her family has enough resources for every child. Her unusual body—four arms, fangs, poison, and Ancient inheritance—does not erase her dependence as a newborn. Cyrene names her Luna, and the child embraces the name because she intends to conquer as far as the moon, turning a survival drive into an extravagant ambition before she has even chosen a class. (Chapter 522)
The System identifies her as a level-ninety-nine Puppet Master, Ancient-quality Lamia Progenitor, and Mythic Awakened being. Her first lessons are nevertheless basic ones: asking politely, eating pieces small enough to swallow, greeting strangers without biting, and distinguishing inherited instinct from social knowledge. Luna absorbs Dwarven law and etiquette from books, then concludes that farming offers the real power because farmers control food, carry weapons, and live with fluffy children. Guided toward the General side of her class tree, she immediately uses Pixie Druid summons to investigate agriculture rather than applying her army solely to conquest. (Chapters 523–525)
Luna's sisters hatch at lower quality and with less immediate development, but the feared sibling conflict never becomes her lasting role. She trains beside them, learns how her four arms change ordinary weapon forms, and begins treating her summons as teachers as well as tools. In the training tower she calls Lamia Scourge Casters, Wrath Bringers, copies of Kone, and a recorded warrior to build a balanced force; Kone's clone teaches her that a summoner must manage unintelligent troops and trust capable Supporters. The lesson shifts Luna from personally stabbing every distraction toward commanding a formation with purpose. (Chapters 528–531)
Her rapid growth is paired with deliberate study rather than passive inheritance. When Cain's possible departure terrifies her, Luna insists on accompanying him and accepts learning Runes as a preparation they can share. She struggles through handwriting, discovers how compound brush strokes form runic symbols, and creates a silver blowgun whose inscription accelerates projectiles. The weapon suits her anatomy because her upper hands can aim while her lower pair holds blades, and it can deliver her own venom. A quest reward later grants Spirit-rank Inspiring Presence and begins her Spirit Awakening, just before a one-way portal carries her and Cain into a human cultivation world. (Chapters 564–570)
Forbidden Treasure Sect
Cain disguises Luna as a human adolescent because the new world's cultivators may react violently to demons. She learns to conserve energy in a realm where mana recovers slowly, merges with Ancient Su and an Ancient Oath Breaker for passive healing, dragon breath, speed, and area damage, and uses a runic blowgun to stop intruders. In public sparring, she deliberately restricts herself to a dual-blade style, discovers that her Spirit-Awakened body vastly exceeds opponents at similar levels, and adapts when fighting three coordinated acolytes. Her willingness to restrain lethal force marks real development from the hatchling who treated every rival as prey. (Chapters 570–573)
The journey immediately tests her loyalty and social judgment. When an Immortal challenges Cain for the right to take her as a disciple, Luna trusts her father's strength and keeps their nonhuman identities secret despite intense public scrutiny. After Cain wins, she offers the observing Sect Master food and friendship rather than treating every powerful stranger as a future enemy. Cain also frees the defeated challenger's bound disciples, giving Luna new traveling companions. She accepts Penny, Tena, and Jen as peers, learns to share space and training with them, and remains openly affectionate even when local hierarchy treats casual hugs as improper. (Chapters 574–577)
Luna integrates a captured cultivation core so the world's energy can restore her power, beginning at one percent with a one-hundred-million-experience requirement. As Cain's rescued followers formalize the Forbidden Treasure Sect, quests and independent training therefore matter more than merely sheltering behind him. She experiments with Battlefield, filling its experience-linked pocket space with productive Pixie Druids before withdrawing selected warriors for real combat, and practices defensive command by controlling Earth Golems instead of entering the melee herself. The sect gives her inherited appetite for dominance a bounded purpose: make her father proud, advance beside friends, and win contests whose rules prevent permanent harm. (Chapters 577, 581, 585–602, and 656)
At level 235, Luna rejects Assimilator because absorbing defeated beings could change who she is, Puppeteer Queen because governing an empire sounds tedious, and Demonic Artificer despite her interest in Runes. She selects Princess of War for direct combat, Versatility, draconic defenses, and the eventual crown that delights her. Her initial investment maximizes Draconic Armor, improves melee damage, and adds War Aura's chance to intimidate on hit. The choice is playful but not arbitrary: it strengthens both her personal fighting and her summoned army without sacrificing the identity she explicitly values. (Chapter 604)
Quest gains eventually let Luna purchase the whole Princess of War tree. Crown of the War Princess grants her and allied fighters added damage equal to ten times her level in percent, turning the decorative reward she wanted into a sect-wide combat multiplier. She applies the completed build with restraint as well as force, bringing only two Pixie assassins to a later challenge because a full demonic deployment would be unsporting. On expeditions she combines her speed, allies' formations, and multiple Carnage and Oath Breaker summons, even revising a fire-heavy plan to preserve boar meat for the group's meals. (Chapters 629, 656, and 663)
Cain's World Dragon transformation finally exposes Luna's true species to disciples who knew her only as a human girl. She admits that she forgot to explain she was a Lamia Progenitor, apologizes, and returns to her disguised form when the group resumes traveling. Her friends' surprise does not break the sect, showing that months of shared risk matter more than the identity she concealed for safety. By this stage her Lamia body has grown toward adolescence, but her desire for physical closeness remains unchanged: she still wraps Cain or trusted companions, cooks and trains with the sect, and treats power as something best enjoyed among people she knows. (Chapter 670)
Ascension and homecoming
Luna's completed skills begin supporting communities outside her own sect. At the Crushing Mountain Sect she reproduces a Seraphim Arena from a recorded Elder Ling, creating a protected training space that ejects and heals combatants before critical injury. The construction requires an appropriate recorded source and caps at the Spirit Realm, so it is not equal to Cain's later Divine version, but it lets local disciples practice intensely without consuming recovery resources. Luna's theatrical use of her robes and crown reveals a new kind of ambition: she still wants admiration, yet now earns it by building infrastructure others can safely use. (Chapters 677–678)
When Cain's new skills unexpectedly trigger Divine tribulation, Luna's first concern is that the storm might kill him. She demands reassurance when he returns burned, then watches the individualized cultivation trials he creates, tracking several accelerated scenarios at once despite their hundredfold time flow. She also continues drawing applicants into the arena and studying their techniques instead of attempting an advancement she has not reached. Cain's ascension changes the scale of the household, but Luna remains Spirit Awakened; proximity to a Demigod father does not automatically grant her his Divine rank. (Chapters 679–683)
At the Seaside Sect, Luna confronts a skill her summons can bypass but she personally lacks: swimming. She initially merges with a Water Elemental to move safely and fight in a water-filled arena, then persists through instruction and competitive games until she can swim back to shore without the merger. She records the Mystic Cooking skills of accessible disciples but cannot record the Demigod chef because his power exceeds her technique's reach. Together these episodes clarify her development: Luna learns quickly and exploits combinations shamelessly, yet accepts practice and hard limits when cleverness alone cannot provide genuine mastery. (Chapters 691–694)
The portal beyond the Seaside Sect opens into the Ancients' Divine Plane and restores Luna's contact with their collective mind. She changes back to her Lamia form, immediately embraces Hera, introduces herself and her fellow disciples to the gathered Ancients, and moves through the city without suffering the energy shortage affecting her mortal companions. Reuniting with Cyrene gives her family journey its destination, while the prepared household's enormous library promises another field for her curiosity. Luna closes the corpus listening to Hera and proposing new food flavors, rooted in the Ancient community but still carrying the friendships and enthusiasms she developed in the cultivation world. (Chapters 697–704)
Appearance and personality
Luna's natural body resembles Cyrene's but visibly carries Cain's Ancient inheritance: alabaster skin, pink hair, a long white serpentine lower body patterned with gold rather than red, four arms, and functional fangs. She is initially shorter than Cain's forearm and no thicker than his finger, then grows rapidly on high-grade food; by Chapter 670, her Lamia body approaches adolescence. Cain's human disguise makes her an early-teen girl resembling him, with dark hair, blue eyes, two arms, and legs. Princess of War later supplies a dragon-scale dress-like armor with a dragon-mask helmet, as well as glowing princess robes and a golden crown. (Chapters 522–523, 570, 604, 670, and 677)
She is curious, affectionate, competitive, food-driven, and unusually direct. Luna asks questions without embarrassment, learns quickly from anyone who demonstrates competence, and treats physical closeness as normal enough to sleep wrapped around relatives or friends. Her humor and appetite frequently make serious settings less formal, but neither quality means she is careless about loyalty: she protects family secrets, fears losing Cain, and fights hard for her sect. Her growth lies less in becoming gentle than in learning context—when to restrain poison and summons, when a duel is not her fight, and when cooperation produces more lasting power than eliminating competitors. (Chapters 523–525, 564, 574–575, 604, 656, and 698)
Skills and class features
Luna's abilities cross three linked systems: an Ancient-grade Lamia Progenitor body, System levels and classes, and Mythic-to-Spirit Awakening combined with a cultivation core. Puppet Master supplies recorded summons, Merger, and command infrastructure; Princess of War raises her personal and allied combat output; Rune Crafting and learned weapon styles add techniques that are not innate class skills. Her strength comes from combining those layers, but each has separate constraints: valid recording targets, summon quality, active Versatility selection, energy recovery, precise runic work, and her still-incomplete physical maturity. (Chapters 523, 530–531, 565, 569–573, 604, and 629)
Lamia Progenitor body and Sanguine Corruption
Ancient quality gives Luna exceptional cognitive and physical development from birth, while her Lamia Progenitor form supplies four arms, a serpentine body, fangs, rapid growth from nutrients, and inherited survival instincts. Her innate Mythic skill, Sanguine Corruption, makes exposed blood boil and necrotize on contact, remains active outside her body for up to two hours, and lowers a victim's constitution by one point per second until cleansed or resisted. She can apply the venom to weapons and potentially arm summons, but resistance and cleansing are explicit counters, and her own Mythic defense does not make higher-level Mythic opponents harmless. (Chapters 522–523 and 537)
Puppet Master summons, recording, and command
Luna learns the General side of Puppet Master first, increasing numbers and gaining Lieutenants and a Commander rather than prioritizing the Lady path's stronger individual summons and Companion. Her main categories are Lesser, Greater, and Supporter: Lamia Scourge Casters and Lesser Elementals provide basic roles; Wrath Bringers and other Greater forms hold the front; Supporters reproduce recorded individuals with useful knowledge and spells. A Supporter copy does not inherit every personal bond or exclusive benefit of the original, and other Puppet Masters are invalid targets. Creatures above the quality her spell can call may be recorded for later, but cannot be summoned prematurely. (Chapters 524–525 and 530–531)
Recording preserves a valid subject as a summon option and can also give Luna access to the knowledge embodied by that copy. She records allies, warriors, cooks, and spellcasters, then uses summoned versions as instructors, combatants, or sources for derived techniques. The method has a power ceiling: the Seaside Sect's Divine chef cannot be recorded by her even though his lower-ranked disciples can. Her summons also vary in independent judgment; capable Supporters can advise her, while lower golems require active tactical direction. That distinction is why early training emphasizes managing the field instead of personally diving into every fight. (Chapters 530–531, 602, 677, and 693–694)
Merger, Battlefield, and combat application
Merger folds summon traits and abilities into Luna. An Ancient Oath Breaker supplies speed and movement, while Ancient Su contributes a healing aura and Dragon Breath; other choices include Record Keeper for magical properties and Water Elemental for movement through water. These combinations remain energy-sensitive in the cultivation world, where her mana initially regenerates at roughly one point per second and a large setup leaves her below full capacity. They also do not replace learning: Water Elemental lets her operate before she can swim, but Luna must release it and coordinate her own body to master the skill personally. (Chapters 572–573, 602, and 691–693)
Battlefield creates a separate combat space whose occupants remain within range of Luna's experience effects. She first stocks it with Pixie Druids whose living flowers and bees turn the pocket into a source of honey and sweets, later withdraws Pixie warriors as hidden reinforcements, and uses the space as persistent storage for active forces. The ability's usefulness therefore goes beyond direct fighting, but nothing shows it granting free power: Luna still needs appropriate summons, creatures inside must perform productive actions, and beings brought out remain subject to ordinary tactical limits. (Chapters 581, 656, and 674)
Luna also learns dual-blade forms, uses her additional limbs to combine melee weapons with a blowgun, and practices formation command. Oath Breaker movement lets her reposition behind coordinated opponents, while Dark Elven blade techniques share or echo pressure across groups and suit fighting while outnumbered. She is capable in direct combat, but her best deployments combine roles: durable summons constrain movement, assassins exploit distraction, and Luna attacks where the formation creates an opening. Her willingness to limit summon numbers in sporting matches shows that maximum deployment is not the same as the force required for every encounter. (Chapters 530–531, 565, 573, 602, 656, and 663)
Awakening, cultivation core, and Inspiring Presence
Luna is born Mythic Awakened because Sanguine Corruption already meets that grade. The Spirit-rank Inspiring Presence reward begins her Spirit Awakening; its range is one kilometer per level, encourages allied sentient beings to follow her, and raises the likelihood of devotion to her cause by 0.1 percent per level. The effect influences rather than guarantees allegiance, and its moral value depends on the cause she promotes. By Chapter 573 she is explicitly Spirit Awakened, giving her far greater physical capability than unawakened cultivators of comparable System level. (Chapters 523, 569, and 573)
Her borrowed cultivation core restores compatibility with the human world's energy and begins at one-percent integration with a one-hundred-million-experience requirement. It is an internal progression mechanism rather than an instant realm promotion. Quests, combat, and cultivation resources accelerate the integration while her System experience bonus continues to raise levels, but the text never confirms her crossing into Immortality or Divinity. Her latest formal Awakening state in the supplied corpus therefore remains Spirit, even after Cain becomes a Demigod and the family enters a Divine Plane. (Chapters 577, 581, 604, and 679–704)
Princess of War
Princess of War increases the combat power of Luna's skills and rewards defeated opponents. Its Versatility can raise one designated skill to her current power, particularly benefiting summons: once a strengthened summon exists, she can retarget Versatility and the first summon does not automatically revert. Continuously sustained effects are a limit, because switching Versatility away from an active armor or similar skill cancels it. The tree also offers magical and physical damage, agility, claws, dragon breath, scaled defenses, Champion's one-day bonus after defeating an enemy, and group inspiration; visible options are not evidence that all were active before she completed the tree. (Chapter 604)
Her first purchases maximize Draconic Armor, add melee damage, and unlock War Aura, which can intimidate on hit. At completion, Crown of the War Princess creates her crown and grants Luna and her allies added damage equal to ten times her level in percent. The multiplier supports both personal attacks and organized sect combat, making her more than a solitary duelist. Its benefit is offensive rather than protective, so the team still needs formation, healing, defense, and suitable targets; Luna's later battles continue to rely on Jen's front line, companion coordination, and carefully chosen summons. (Chapters 604, 629, 656, and 663)
Rune Crafting and created techniques
Rune Crafting lets Luna form equipment whose inscription scales from the creator's strength or, after initial charges fade, from the wielder who supplies energy. The process requires exact shapes, placement, brush order, a permanent medium, and an activating energy input; pencil planning can confirm alignment but cannot finalize a working enchantment. Luna's first successful blowgun strengthens its bamboo body and accelerates generated darts, creating a ranged delivery method for her poison without blocking all four arms. Later work includes personalized weapons, but her difficulty recording a Divine chef and her need to keep practicing handwriting show that Ancient ancestry does not remove technical learning. (Chapters 564–565 and 690)
Her later Seraphim Arena demonstrates how recording, summoning, and learned construction interact. Luna uses a merged copy of Elder Ling as the basis, produces a self-refereeing arena with a recovery room, and caps it at the Spirit Realm. Combatants are removed and healed before critical damage, making the structure useful for repeatable training rather than execution. The cap and dependence on a recorded source distinguish the result from unlimited creation, while its successful use at another sect shows that Luna can turn copied knowledge into a stable service for people outside her immediate party. (Chapters 677–678 and 683)

Relationships
- Cain: Luna's father, class model, Sect Master, and preferred source of security. She inherits his Puppet Master class, studies summoning and Runes with him, accompanies him through the one-way portal, and gradually turns his guidance into independent command.
- Cyrene: Luna's mother and the person who names her. Cyrene protects the clutch, helps redirect Luna's competitive instincts, and provides the Lamia form and habits that remain central to Luna's identity even while she travels disguised as human.
- Misha: A member of Luna's extended household whom Luna reaches in the Ancients' city. Misha's reunion with Cain completes the family mission that organizes Luna's return from the cultivation world.
- Penny: A Lycan disciple and one of Luna's closest traveling companions. Penny trains, fights, and sleeps beside her, balances Luna's impulses with older experience, and becomes a trusted member of the Forbidden Treasure Sect.
- Tena: A fellow junior disciple whose growth Luna supports through training and shared combat. Their friendship combines competition, coordinated fighting, and the ordinary arguments over food that make the sect a household as well as a military group.
- Jen: The sect's defensive leader and a frequent tactical partner. Jen forms the front of group engagements while Luna supplies reinforcements, speed, and damage, giving Luna a reliable formation around which to organize her summons.
- Sabbat: A young mage and teammate whom Luna protects and teases. Sabbat's developing magic complements Luna's command role, while their training exercises force Luna to practice defense rather than solve every problem through direct attack.
- Solara: A former Elder who becomes a disciple and one of Luna's favored companions. Luna values her alchemy, cooking, and affection, while Solara's longer experience offers another perspective within the otherwise youthful traveling sect.
- Hera: The Ancient who welcomes Luna through the final portal. Luna immediately adopts her as a guide and source of physical comfort, and Hera carries her through the city while sharing books and listening to her ideas.
