Lin Dong Dong

Lin Dong Dong is a Great Dao Paragon of One Dao Sect whose consciousness-descending Art lets him temporarily occupy a blood-linked host. His clash with Su Ming becomes important beyond the battle because Su Ming gains an epiphany from Lin's method of separating existence from ordinary space.

Biography

Ancient Zang and the final truth

When One Dao Sect must respond to the crisis involving the emperor's three manifestations, Lin Dong Dong volunteers to act while other senior powers are unavailable. He uses the first prince's blood as a guide, sends his consciousness into the prince, and temporarily occupies him through the sect's Art of Kismet and the matching laws of the third layer. The method turns the prince into a Great Dao Paragon vessel but stops short of permanent Possession. (Chapters 1447–1448)

Lin Dong Dong ultimately stands among the Great Dao Paragons and cultivators treated as pieces within Su Ming's longer Possession of Xuan Zang. Su Ming kills him during the reckoning with One Dao Sect, yet learns from his technique how to make existence seem incorporeal and separate from the world's space so divine abilities pass through. Su Ming later refuses to rely on that evasion when fighting for Seven Moons Sect, but Lin's insight remains a genuine addition to his understanding. (Chapters 1466–1467)

Appearance and personality

While descending into the first prince, Lin Dong Dong is visible through the host's ancient, chilling gaze rather than his own body. He is decisive enough to volunteer immediately and confident in One Dao Sect's methods. The limited direct evidence does not establish a fuller private temperament. (Chapters 1447–1448)

Abilities and cultivation

As a Great Dao Paragon, Lin Dong Dong belongs among Ancient Zang's highest cultivators below the final Dao God levels. His learned Art combines blood guidance, One Dao Sect's Kismet, and compatible local laws to descend consciousness into a host. It is temporary and host-dependent, so it is not ordinary bodily immortality or unrestricted Possession. (Chapter 1448)

The deeper principle separates one's existence from corporeal space, allowing divine abilities to seep through without contact. Su Ming can reproduce the epiphany later, proving the mechanic is transferable as insight. It does not prevent Lin Dong Dong's own eventual death against a superior opponent. (Chapters 1466–1467)

Items

No named personal item is securely attributed to Lin Dong Dong. Blood is a required medium for his descent Art, not a permanent artifact.
