Fei Hua

Fei Hua is a Lord Saint Defier whose white ring reaches Arid Triad and whose past is entangled with the bald crane. She joins Saint Defier's senior response to Su Ming, but the dying aeon leaves even her level unable to prevent collapse.

Biography

The Fifth Furnace and Morning Dao

Fei Hua first enters the narrative through the white ring. The bald crane recognizes her name and remembers having given her a calculated but “wrong” path capable of reaching Lord Saint Defier. Her successful ascent confirms that she followed that method, though the cost and exact cultivation process are not described. She later sends the ring into Arid Triad, where its power becomes contested and eventually falls into Su Ming's hands. (Chapter 1133)

Arid Triad and the dying aeon

Fei Hua sits with Xuan Jiu and Xiao Song among Saint Defier's leaders when they receive reports concerning Su Ming. When Su Ming gravely damages one of their peers without killing him, Fei Hua and Xiao Song fall silent, recognizing a danger that makes immediate arrogance untenable. (Chapters 1307–1311)

As planets vanish and space distorts, Fei Hua, Yan Pei, and Zi Ruo cannot stop Dark Dawn and Saint Defier from descending into chaos. Restored to a youthful appearance, Fei Hua returns to the lake where she once sat with the bald crane for one hundred years. She closes her melancholy eyes and accepts that this is a death no life can avoid. The scene does not directly narrate her destruction, so her exact final moment remains unrecorded. (Chapters 1361–1367)

Appearance and personality

Fei Hua is a woman whose restored form resembles a teenager. Her silence before overwhelming force and melancholy at the lake suggest composure, memory, and acceptance rather than panic. The available evidence gives little direct speech, so broader personality claims would be speculative. (Chapters 1311, 1367)

Abilities and cultivation

Fei Hua is a Lord Saint Defier, reached through a method derived from the bald crane's calculations. The method is explicitly called a wrong path that nevertheless enables the realm, implying success with an unstated flaw or cost. No personal attack is demonstrated. (Chapter 1133)

Her power is associated with the white ring sent into Arid Triad, but later users cannot release its full force and suffer enormous pressure. The exact share of the ring's power originating from Fei Hua is unclear. Her ultimate limit is cosmic: even her realm cannot stop the aeon's collapse. (Chapters 1133–1143, 1361)

Relationships

  • Bald crane: It remembers advising Fei Hua's path and later spending a century beside the lake with her, leaving a bond marked by nostalgia and melancholy. (Chapters 1133, 1367)
  • Xuan Jiu and Xiao Song: Fellow Saint Defier leaders with whom she assesses the threat from Su Ming. (Chapters 1307–1311)
  • Su Ming: He encounters her ring and becomes the force Saint Defier's leaders must reassess. (Chapters 1133–1143, 1307–1311)

Items

  • White ring: Sent by Fei Hua into Arid Triad and capable of power beyond what Xing Ji Dao or Su Ming can initially release. Its full mechanics and original purpose remain uncertain. (Chapters 1133–1143)
