Dijiu Mo Sha

Dijiu Mo Sha is a senior cultivator of the Ninth Tribe, a people descended from the community founded by Tian Xie Zi in Divine Essence Star Ocean. His name and tribe awaken Su Ming's memories of the Ninth Summit, turning an initially compelled guide into a trusted host. Dijiu helps Su Ming navigate the region, fights beside him, and later cares for him after a night of drinking with Xu Hui.

Biography

A guide from the Ninth Tribe

Su Ming questions Dijiu under overwhelming pressure and confirms that his tribe carries Tian Xie Zi's legacy even though its current patriarch is not Su's master. Dijiu accepts the unequal situation and guides Su through local territory, sharing practical knowledge of the Heaven Traversers and other powers. His standing is not merely ceremonial: he fights an opponent of comparable middle- or later-World Plane strength and trusts Su Ming's warning when a dangerous spatial crack appears. Within the tribe he becomes a grounded companion, retreating from Xu Hui's drunken challenge and later carrying the intoxicated Su Ming to bed with an amused tolerance. (Chapters 923–977)

A name surviving in memory

Much later, while drinking on another mountain, Su Ming instinctively calls for Dijiu to bring more wine. No one answers because this is not the mountain in Divine Essence Star Ocean and Dijiu is not present. The memory links him to a lost period of companionship and emphasizes the world Su can recall but cannot simply restore. The scene establishes emotional survival in memory, not Dijiu's physical survival or death. (Chapter 1433)

Appearance and personality

Dijiu is a thin man. He begins guarded and subdued under Su Ming's authority, but his later conduct shows adaptability, local confidence, and hospitality. He obeys danger warnings without wasting time on pride and treats the drunk Su Ming with practical care. His smile after the drinking contest suggests familiarity rather than fear by the end of their association. (Chapters 923–977)

Abilities and cultivation

Dijiu's combat power is compared with a cultivator in the middle or later stage of World Plane Realm, placing him within that range without resolving the exact stage. Their exchange produces loud clashes of divine abilities, but the dossier does not name his techniques or explain their mechanics. (Chapters 935–942)

His most demonstrated noncombat strength is knowledge of Divine Essence Star Ocean. He understands regional races, territories, routes, and threats and can guide travelers across a region where unfamiliarity is dangerous. This expertise is learned and situational, not a supernatural perception. (Chapters 923–977)

Items

No personal item is described with enough continuity to document as a notable possession. Wine and household arrangements appear in his hospitality but are not established as unique equipment.
