Dao Han
Dao Han is a name associated first with a Morning Dao dynast and later with the presiding Great Sect Elder of Seven Moons Sect in Ancient Zang. The dossier does not explicitly define the metaphysical continuity between those settings, so the two roles are treated as successive documented identities rather than an asserted reincarnation. In Ancient Zang, Dao Han inherits leadership during a disastrous era and becomes one of the few elders to survive One Dao Sect's assault.
Biography
A dynast in Morning Dao's trial
Dao Han appears on Morning Dao's public ranking during the lost-soul contest. He is credited with killing three lost souls, behind Dao Lin's seven but ahead of dynasts who killed two. The brief report establishes competitive standing and participation, not his method, motivation, or later fate in that era. (Chapter 1087)
Presiding over Seven Moons Sect's ruin
In Ancient Zang, Dao Han is the Great Sect Elder whose allotted era of wakefulness places him in charge while the other ancient elders sleep. Lan Lan sees signs of his death in the sect's fate and wakes her master early, violating the rule that only one Great Sect Elder should preside at a time. Dao Han later recognizes why Gu Tai values Su Ming, joins the sect's full mobilization, and understands that One Dao Sect's destruction is connected to Su even before the wider world completes its investigation. (Chapters 1387–1471)
One Dao Sect's retaliation devastates Seven Moons Sect. Xu Zhong Fan and most Great Sect Elders die; Dao Han survives with heavy injuries beside only two other elders, one reduced to a Nascent Divinity and another barely conscious. He adopts Gu Tai and Xu Zhong Fan's wish that Su help preserve the sect. When Su finally leaves the world, Dao Han stands on a coffin and watches with heartfelt respect, his leadership reduced from commanding an era to guarding the remnant that survived it. (Chapters 1465–1477)
Appearance and personality
The dossier does not preserve a detailed physical description. Dao Han is defined by the composure and burden of an ancient sect leader: he respects institutional rules, judges unusual talent carefully, and recognizes realities that other powers reach only through elaborate divination. After the massacre his laughter is shrill and forlorn, yet he continues representing the surviving sect rather than withdrawing into private grief. (Chapters 1387–1477)
Abilities and cultivation
Dao Han is one of Seven Moons Sect's Great Sect Elders and can lead its cultivator army alongside the other elders. He survives a calamity that kills most of his peers and can identify the pressure of a Great Dao Paragon when Su Ming returns. The dossier does not explicitly assign Dao Han himself a formal Great Dao Paragon stage, so his title and battlefield role should not be converted into a precise realm claim. (Chapters 1407–1471)
He possesses experienced spiritual perception and knowledge of the sect's ancient systems. His recognition of Su Ming's role in One Dao Sect's fall appears to be informed judgment from known presence and events, not a named divination art. His severe injuries are a lasting limit at the end of the war. (Chapters 1465–1477)
