Chen Yu Bing is a Freezing Sky Clan disciple assigned to the party returning from Han Mountain. Initially pompous, he becomes markedly deferential after recognizing Su Ming as a Divine General of Awakening, then serves as guide and intermediary during the journey through Sky Mist City.

Biography

Freezing Sky and the Ninth Summit

Chen Yu Bing first faces Su Ming alongside Xu Ru Yue. Their confidence collapses when they realize whom they have slighted, and Chen steps forward to apologize and praise the Divine General. He politely guides Su Ming, Han Fei Zi, and Fang Cang Lan into the activated Relocation Rune, then explains Sky Mist City's role as the ancient barrier between inner South Morning and the outer lands. He negotiates respectfully with the uncle master guarding the wall and arranges the group's brief visit, showing knowledge of both geography and the clan's strict hierarchy. (Chapters 213, 216–217)

The sight beyond the barrier leads Chen to describe the conflict in terms of mutual hatred between Shamans and Berserkers. When violence erupts outside, he urges Su Ming to return to the nearly ready Rune, recognizing that their power is insufficient to help and that delay is dangerous. Back at Freezing Sky Clan, he handles introductions. By his final appearance six months later, he and Xu Ru Yue have become Han Fei Zi's established followers; both react to Su Ming with complicated respect and withdraw at Han Fei Zi's unspoken command. Appearance and personality

Chen Yu Bing is a male Freezing Sky disciple first marked by a pompous air. He is socially alert and adaptable: panic strips away that arrogance before Su Ming, while he remains respectful before senior clan members and comfortable guiding juniors. His answer at the wall is confident and severe, but his anxiety during the outside battle is practical rather than cowardly.

Abilities and cultivation

Chen Yu Bing's realm and personal combat Arts are not stated. His demonstrated competencies are institutional and logistical: he understands the Relocation route, South Morning's defensive geography, Freezing Sky hierarchy, and the permissions needed to approach Sky Mist's barrier. The Rune itself is arranged and activated by Xu Ru Yue and others, so its relocation effect is not Chen's innate power. He also correctly recognizes that the clash outside the barrier exceeds the party's ability to influence, a clear operational limit. (Chapters 213, 216–218)
