Stella

Stella is the Elder Lord name of Jung Yunji, a Korean player and merchant whose career at the Blacksmith Company begins with an unsuccessful vegetable assignment in Anail. Her encounter with Crockta, then using the name Ian, unexpectedly launches her advancement from intern to manager and eventually to the company’s youngest executive. On Earth she is part of Yiyu’s wider circle, while neither she nor Ian initially confirms the other’s in-game identity. (Chapters 11–12, 52–57, 65–66, 196, and 202)

Biography

Orcrox and the Warrior’s Laws

Stella meets Ian while trying to sell vegetables at the Blacksmith Company’s Anail branch. She has spent her salary on specialized training to pass the company interview, and failure to clear the day’s stock threatens her move from internship to full employment. She gives Ian a player-created quest with base pay and a share of sales, but his improvised performance as an “orc vegetable seller” succeeds where her conventional pitches fail. The branch sells out, and the unusual result later makes Stella the market’s selling queen. (Chapter 11; Chapter 196)

Afterward, Stella recognizes that Ian’s immersion rather than a prepared sales formula changed the response of Elder Lord’s inhabitants. She befriends him, explains assimilation, and reveals that her own level is much higher even though it does not represent combat strength. She also warns him that users can be more dangerous than residents and gives him a company bandana that hides his user mark from casual attention. Ian later receives the promised quest reward, confirming that their informal partnership is completed rather than abandoned. (Chapters 12 and 19)

The South and the Heaven and Earth Conflict

Ian later meets Jung Yunji at a cafeteria through Yiyu and realizes that her face and comments resemble Stella, but he keeps his own identity secret. In Maillard, Stella has become a branch manager and does not recognize the larger, tattooed Crockta as the beginner Ian. She helps him pursue users who harassed Yiyu, acting as bait despite her lack of combat ability, and then helps him search for the Information Guild. Her customer handling has also matured: she acknowledges a buyer’s disappointment, follows refund rules, and redirects him to a practical treatment rather than making a false promise. (Chapters 52–57)

Yunji separately becomes interested in Yiyu’s brother without realizing that he is both Ian and Crockta. When Stella messages Ian to ask where he lives, he falsely claims Busan because he wants to protect that secret. This leaves their mutual recognition incomplete: Ian knows Stella is Yunji, while Yunji only suspects that the familiar real name may connect the two men she has encountered. (Chapters 65–66)

The War of the Gods and the Grey God

Before the divine expedition attacks Orcrox, Stella is the Blacksmith Company’s youngest executive. She opposes supplying the expedition because the orcs, including Crockta, are existing customers and aiding their destruction would betray the company’s trust. Her argument persuades chairman Black Smith to reject the profitable agreement and reaffirm the company’s mission of benefiting the world through distribution. Stella’s rise is therefore tied not merely to the extraordinary Anail sales but to commercial judgment that preserves long-term obligations under political pressure. (Chapter 196)

On Earth, the narration explicitly identifies Jung Yunji as Stella, an elite player and young Blacksmith Company executive. She watches the live opening of the Orcrox war with Yiyu, Yoon Bora, Ban Taehoon, and Park Jungtae, cheering with the group as Crockta confronts the expedition. This is her latest direct appearance; later chapters do not establish her actions during or after the Elder Lord dimensional crisis. (Chapter 202)

Appearance and personality

Stella’s Elder Lord avatar is a slim human woman with the white forehead star that marks a user. Her ability to yell loudly contrasts with that build, but no detailed hair, eye, clothing, or equipment description is supplied. Ian recognizes Jung Yunji’s real-world face from Stella’s expressions and vegetable-selling complaints, confirming the identity before the narration states it directly. (Chapters 11, 52, and 202)

She is ambitious, talkative, commercially minded, and willing to endure embarrassment for advancement. Early Stella boasts about appearing in Elder Lord Times but fails at basic sales; instead of dismissing Ian’s success, she studies the lesson and later imitates his exclusivity pitch. Her imitation fails, yet her subsequent customer-service scene and executive argument show that she develops a more reliable style based on empathy, honesty, and institutional trust. (Chapters 11–12, 53, 56, and 196)

Stella also takes risks for people she does not know closely. She assists Crockta’s plan against the users who harassed Yiyu, even though her immediate motive includes wanting to befriend Yiyu after meeting Ian. Her mixed motives are played comically, but she follows through after seeing that the targets are stronger than expected. (Chapters 53–54)

Skills, powers, and limitations

Negotiating Eloquence

Stella identifies Negotiating Eloquence as her Special-grade trump skill. It is particularly strong for bargaining over prices and may explain how Ian momentarily forgets to collect his reward, although that suggestion is presented humorously rather than confirmed as mind control. The text does not show the skill compelling a target, changing a contract, or guaranteeing a sale. (Chapter 12)

Her later practice supplies the more grounded applications. Stella offers Crockta a discount, converts an angry potion complaint into a clinic referral, and makes a policy argument to senior executives by centering customer trust rather than short-term profit. Only the bargaining skill is formally named; empathy, sales judgment, and corporate persuasion are demonstrated competencies, not additional system powers. (Chapters 53, 56, and 196)

Merchant progression

Stella is a merchant rather than a fighter. She begins as an intern, becomes manager of the Maillard branch, and later becomes the youngest and most innovative Blacksmith Company executive. The Anail vegetable result starts this progression, but chairman Black Smith credits her understanding of the company’s foundational promise as the rarer quality. Her “elite player” description in the later narration confirms status and success, not combat rank or blacksmithing ability. (Chapters 11, 53, 196, and 202)

Her limitations are explicit during the Maillard bait operation. She misses a deer with a dagger, is knocked down by it, lacks combat skills, and has an assimilation rate around forty percent that makes her avatar’s movements worse than her real-world motor ability. The corpus never shows her learning a combat style, crafting equipment, or personally fighting in the divine war. (Chapters 12 and 54)

• Crockta: Stella befriends him when he is the beginner Ian and benefits from his vegetable-selling performance.
