Kenzo

Kenzo is a human Elder Lord user who fights with a claymore and initially mistakes Crockta for a powerful non-player character. After surviving the Forest of Creatures, he asks Crockta to train him and reaches the early realm of the Pinnacle while driving predatory moneylenders from Quantes. Biography

The South and the Heaven and Earth Conflict

Kenzo is part of a user party overwhelmed by enhanced trolls and twin-headed ogres in the Forest of Creatures. He fights at the front with a claymore and survives long enough to leave under Crockta’s protection, but his lack of interest in rankings and videos means that he does not recognize his rescuer. Believing Crockta to be a remarkable NPC, Kenzo asks to become his disciple. He explains that childhood bullying and a friend’s intervention inspired him to become strong enough to help people in despair. Crockta accepts a short advisory role and trains him to treat Elder Lord’s danger seriously, accidentally killing him in their first spar and then continuing despite the temporary ability loss caused by the user death penalty. When users reproduce predatory lending schemes in Quantes, Crockta assigns Kenzo to stop them. Kenzo initially hesitates to attack other users on behalf of people he still thinks of as NPCs, but investigating the lenders’ harassment changes his judgment. He uses tracking and stealth to locate the organization, fights its armed members with his claymore, and reaches the early Pinnacle while outnumbered. He repeatedly kills the returning lenders until they withdraw from Quantes.
