Kraugel's White Tiger Sword

The Kraugel's White Tiger Sword is a growth weapon forged by Grid for Kraugel that rises from normal to myth rating with the Sword Saint before Kraugel permanently sacrifices it to protect Hayate. (Chapters 794, 1536, and 1658)

History

Two distinct white tiger swords

Grid completes two white-tiger-themed swords in the same production sequence. One is the myth-rated World Crushing Sword of the Noble White Tiger; the other is a normal-rated growth-type White Tiger Sword handed to Kraugel. The brief concerns the latter, so properties listed for the separate myth sword at creation must not automatically be assigned to Kraugel's weapon. (Chapter 794)

The shortened name later refers to both weapons. Mercedes's scenes concern the separate myth-rated World Crushing Sword, not temporary custody of Kraugel's growth blade. Grid and Kraugel also share a high-ranked production method named Muksabal (White Tiger Sword), and later variant designs likewise do not become Kraugel's exact item. (Chapters 819, 1018, and 1114)

Growth with the Sword Saint

Kraugel stores the weapon before a risky situation because dropping it could cause bankruptcy, directly confirming its value and his continuing ownership. In later combat, his swings produce storms of swords, while Matchless Swordsmanship sends colorless energy through the weapon. These are interactions with Kraugel's swordsmanship, not proof that the sword autonomously generates every storm or conceptual cut. (Chapters 1428, 1439, and 1536)

Destruction and later-name collisions

By chapter 1536, the growth weapon has evolved to suit the Sword Saint and progressed rapidly after innovation by the Overgeared God. Kraugel permanently destroys it with Sword's Sacrifice to protect Hayate from Bunhelier. Later references to Mercedes's White Tiger Sword and to Pagma combining Twilight with a White Tiger Sword concern the surviving World Crushing Sword, not a continuation of Kraugel's destroyed growth weapon. (Chapters 1536, 1658, 1662, and 1855)

Abilities and properties

  • The sword begins at normal rating as a growth-type weapon and evolves in response to Kraugel's Sword Saint ability. (Chapters 794 and 1536)
  • Its mature form has high sustainability and value, supports Kraugel's Matchless Swordsmanship, and withstands combat at a level where losing it would be financially catastrophic. (Chapters 1428, 1439, and 1536)
  • Innovation by Grid as the Overgeared God accelerates its growth, but the brief does not provide a complete mature stat block or show that it inherits the separate World Crushing Sword's creation options. (Chapters 794 and 1536)
  • Sword storms and colorless conceptual cuts depend on Kraugel's swordsmanship and should not be treated as unconditional item-only effects. Mercedes's later dramatic-victory energy belongs to her and the separate World Crushing Sword. (Chapters 1439, 1536, and 1662)
  • Sword's Sacrifice can consume the weapon permanently to reinforce a target protected by sword energy; Kraugel uses it to save Hayate. (Chapter 1658)

Ownership and custody

Holder or custodianRelationship to the item
GridForges the normal-rated growth sword and gives it directly to Kraugel. (Chapter 794)

MercedesWields the separate World Crushing Sword of the Noble White Tiger; her scenes do not establish custody of Kraugel's blade. (Chapters 819, 1114, and 1662)
