Braham's Boots
The Braham's Boots is a unique pair of griffon-leather boots once loved by Braham, permanently possessing Fly magic and reducing skill cooldowns for its wearer. (Chapters 113 and 191)
History
Reward and early ownership
Grid obtains the boots from a reward chest and refuses Vantner's offer to buy them despite being far below their level-240 requirement. The item description traces them to Great Magician Braham and emphasizes both high defense and embedded mysterious magic. (Chapter 113)
Flight and cooldown use
Once usable, the boots solve tactical and mobility problems. Grid combines flight with pavranium defense to attack an awakened guardian from the air, uses Fly to bypass or reach enemies, surveys islands from above, and repeatedly equips them when immediate aerial access is more important than another footwear option. (Chapters 146, 277, 358, and 700)
Their cooldown reduction also improves skills not generated by the boots. Magic Detection's interval falls from ten to eight minutes in one situation and later to five minutes and thirty seconds under different surrounding cooldown conditions. The varied observed result should not be mistaken for a change to the boots' listed twenty-percent option; other factors can affect the final interval. (Chapters 398 and 517)
Loans and continued relevance
Grid sometimes lends the boots, handing them to Coke when Coke is standing precariously on an iron plate. Much later, characters still recommend becoming accustomed to Braham's Boots rather than choosing redundant flying tools, confirming continued relevance without specifying a permanent new owner. (Chapters 1065 and 1956)
Abilities and properties
- The boots have unique rating, 140/150 durability at discovery, 130 defense, ten-percent movement speed, a level-240 requirement, and a weight of fifty. (Chapter 113)
- They reduce skill cooldown times by twenty percent. The option applies beyond Fly and can shorten detection or combat-skill reuse. (Chapters 113, 398, and 517)
- Their possessed Fly magic creates invisible wings, consumes two mana per second, has speed proportional to the user's magic power, and has no fixed altitude restriction beyond hazards such as oxygen deficiency. (Chapters 113 and 191)
- Because Fly is possessed rather than merely stored, it remains a reusable item function instead of being consumed after one activation. (Chapter 191)

| Coke | Receives the boots temporarily from Grid while standing on an iron plate; no permanent transfer is documented. (Chapter 1065) |
| Latest documented state | Still treated as available equipment worth mastering rather than destroyed or obsolete. (Chapter 1956) |
