Alex's Magic Gun

The Alex's Magic Gun is a unique-rated dwarven magic-engineering weapon awarded to Yura as the successor to Demon Slayer Alex, shifting among pistol, rifle, and bayonet forms to support rapid mana bullets, long-range power, and close combat. (Chapters 372, 423, and 1309)

History

Behen Archipelago reward

The dwarven craftsman Milepeu, who taught Pagma before Pagma became a legend, made the weapon with a Demon Slayer as its required user. A Demon Slayer would normally obtain it by reaching the twenty-fifth island of the Behen Archipelago, but Sticks gives it directly to Yura because she is Grid's colleague. (Chapter 372)

Yura's continuing use

Yura immediately tests its rifle form against Tiramet. She later reveals its transforming bayonet in the National Competition, surprising observers who expect a magic-engineering gun to support only pistol and rifle modes. (Chapters 372 and 423)

The gun remains in Yura's hands much later. Against the Revolutionaries, she uses rapid fire to destroy cover and intercept incoming attacks, then shifts between gun and sword forms as the range changes. (Chapter 1309)

Abilities and properties

• Pistol mode provides the lowest listed attack power but raises mana purification speed by 30 percent, supporting fast conversion of mana into bullets. (Chapter 372)
• Rifle mode provides the highest listed attack power, balanced by slower firing and a reduction to mana purification speed. (Chapter 372)
• Bayonet mode divides the barrel into four parts and projects a blue blade. It raises attack speed and stabbing performance, allowing the gun to serve as a sword at close range. (Chapters 372 and 423)
• The weapon can change modes only once every five seconds, requiring Yura to anticipate the range and rhythm of a fight rather than transform without restriction. (Chapter 372)
• Its barrel and rate of fire make it useful defensively as well as offensively: Yura can block with the weapon and fire a barrage precise enough to intercept multiple attacks. Her ability to see and predict targets still comes from her own powers and allies. (Chapter 1309)
